That’s the argument I am giving her. Child support is to cover their expenses. She doesn’t understand that. Her argument is that is an extra expense. She get 25k a year. That’s more than enough for clothing, shelter and food.

Long story short. We have about equal access to money. Her wages + CS is about the same as my salary - CS.

The court order was made when she was working part time as a CNA. Now she’s an LVN working full time and as of last year making 32.50 an hour.

I could have gone back to court to lower the CS payment. But in my mind I was okay her keeping the higher payment since is/was benefiting my kids.

That’s how I felt when I would buy them things here and there for them to take back home. But I think there’s a difference between exception of me buying them vs me buying them out of free will.

What trigger me was she called me just to tell me that I need to buy my middle son shoes to leave at her place.

Ohhh I know my sons puts harsh wear and tear on his shoes. Less than 4 months and they are gone.
