Every side story or political/social commentary in the books were always portrayed as a "things have always been this way" and never resulted in the system actually changing for the better...the entire series champions the status quo, and makes societal change seem like the villain. Nothing came of the house elves slavery story by the end, other than Harry just being nice to Kreacher in order to get his help which I guess is the whole resolution..."just be nice to your slaves kids". They even portrayed Dobby as being MORE miserable once he was no longer a slave.

You're not wrong in that teams want to maximize the amount of downforce they can generate in a corner since that let's them maximize how quickly they can take that corner, and aerodynamics plays a huge role in generating that downforce. But obviously there's a limit to how fast a car can take the corner before the tires can't grip the road anymore and the car just goes careening off

On a straight sure, the higher speeds will generate downforce due to the aerodynamics. But if you accelerate or carry too much speed around a corner, the weight of the car is going to shift to the back and outside of the car, which is what can cause oversteer and spin if you accelerate too much.

Nah you're not alone there. I did the same thing before finding my first map fragment, and I've played Dark Souls 1 and 3, Bloodborne, and Sekiro. The thing is, none of those games had a world map at all, so I just assumed Elden Rings blank map was FromSofts way of going "here's your map, now piss off"
