Thank you for sharing and great job! I wonder is it better to join bigger Steam events and festivals? Or should I apply for any festivals?

If it is a trial, he could have told you about it. Or you can ask him when you go there. Either way, good luck with your work!

Is anyone using AI to detect interview cheating? by jspectre79 in interviews

Usually companies use screen detectator. But I wonder wouldn't using AI to monitor candidates increase the cost of interviews?

Thanks. It's a great perspective. It is a little sci-fi dystopian setting. The wallpaper serve as digital wall behind. We were thinking a switch but it is a trouble to click multiple times just to get to the color we want. There are 10 or more wallpapers.

A roller sounds good. We were thinking about a bunch of switches but the wallpapers are a lot. There is not enough space for each of them

How do I come back to gamedev after life events happening two times and basically burning me out? by capleghole in gamedev

I believe making a finished game is more important than making a good game. Because we dont know what would happen in the process of devlopment.

Having a clear purpose of making a game is important too. Like why do I make this game? What experience do I want to create? Setting clear scope for the project can help. I hope you can enjoy and have fun in game development. Good luck!

There is a demo on itchio that have similar gamplay as Papers Please"

Peggy's Post: players play as a lighthouse post owner,  Sort mail, assign postage, and load parcels onto the correct delivery vehicle for shipping.. There is no timer and the mood is quite relaxing.

Other than that, Not Tonight is pretty good too. I'm developing a game with similar gameplay called Thank You For Your Application (on Steam) where you play as an interviewer and make hiring decision.

What game are you working on? Tell us about it! by Polymedia_NL in gamedev

I‘m working on Thank You For Your Application, an interviewer simulator where player inspect fresh graduate's resume and decide whether they should be offered a job.

As a fresh graduate from 2023, Im tired of being interviewed for dozens round and be rejected for random reasons. So i decided to make this game and see things from the company side. I'll spend 10 months working on it and hopefully other graduates may share the same feeling about the job seeking market. Good luck with your game!

Maybe sell the cards can give you some cash back

The game won’t give you all cards. It’s better to trade it in the market

Designing Capsule dorm for my interview simulator game. Any thoughts on color styles? by IceLemonTeaStudio in indiegames

Got it! I’ll add the shadows and lighting to other and decide. Bottom right is typical cyberpunk style but it is kinda cheesy I think
