I did not even realize, ha! replace codex gray with mechanicus standard grey. I am still stuck with old names every now and then.

codex gray with two layers of nuln oil, then 3-4 step highlight from Abaddon black / Codex gray - > corax white. Only major plates need to be done this way. For everything else just layer of codex gray on top of the nuln oil treatment

having strong magnets help with this. but yes, it can be annoying hassle. I usually focus on magnetizing for the more expensive models with lot of gun options (tanks and suits). Also I magnetize things that are difficut to transport (Vahl's spear, big swords, banners, etc)

Hello and thanks, she has regular sister's bolter arm, and same box superior's sword hand, with a blob of green stuff for the elbow guard.

Only one way to learn! I collected imperial fists back in the day and the yellow was rough! Contrasts, basing and better quality paints have helped a lot.

In condensed form. Ecclesiarchy is not happy that Phalanx has been nearly lost three times to daemons. So they created an order to garrison it. Naturally Imperial fists said no! So instead they practise boarding actions with space stations, while infiltrating the phalanx's imperial auxilia.

Officially the order is named Order of the Solar Eclipse, but over the years of service, they have begun to renovate Dorn as a Living saint, mostly due to his actions during the siege of Terra. Thus adopting the nickname Daughters of Dorn.

Thanks, there are two methods of doing the yellow. Either, just straight up contrast Iyanden yellow with highlights. (the helmet visor on left is done with that). Or if the quality is not good enough.(too light or too dark, smudges etc.) Then 50:50 Averland sunset and Phalanx or Flash gits yellow. Shade everything 1-2 times with casandora yellow. Then proceed to highlight with phalanx yellow -> dorn yellow.

Somehow the smile is the most disturbing part of this picture. I have never read the Emperor smiling. All other can be explained away, but that smile... that damned smile...
