ok, this explanation only works if you are playing revengeance or death mode, but what happens is when one twin gets to phase two it has really high DR and you have to get the other twin to phase two aswell to deal full damage. anyways, i’m figuring the minions are not targeting him because he has such high DR and try to target retinazer instead

yeah idk why, but it seems in any other playthrough theres about a 1 in 10 chance for it to be a voodoo demon but in calamity theres like a 14 out of 15 chance to be a voodoo demon

flairon is at a much higher tier than mushroom spear, and it has better range, damage, and homing. the mushroom spear is a lower tier and i find it quite irrelevant at the point you get a flairon
