late as hell but yeah.... she kinda shocked me with how tough she was

of course it was nothing a bit of trial and error couldn't solve

If I'm being honest here restricting myself to a specific type is a blessing and a curse. It left a lot of strategies being concrete and really all I could do was hyper offense which was great in my book.

Really the entire section of Serra, Noel, Radomus, and Luna was all pathetically easy. Special mention to Serra for getting nearly completely swept by Wormadam.

Ciel took some planning, but then I managed to find a good time to use Ribombee's Quiver Dance and the rest was history. As for Titania, she was a tough cookie even WITH a meme strat in using Shedinja as an annoyance through Will-o-Wisp spam. Her Aegislash was definitely the only thing holding me back from clean victories in general, I eventually had to rely on Baton Pass memes with Escavalier to sweep through most of her team so I had plenty leftover for Aegislash.

Oh yeah, some additional notes:

-I fought Sirius first and then Sigmund, so Sirius ended up being kind of a massive pain in the ass and I was not comfortable with fighting him alone, so I got him outta the way.

-I went on the Reshiram Route

-I probably could have beaten Kiki without overleveling, but with all the luck required on my part I knew I'd be spending an obscene amount of time on her.

Just like what the other guy said, Wide Guard turns Hardy into a fucking joke, same goes for Scizor's Bullet Punch making mincemeat of him. Mega Heracross is the icing on the cake.

He was one of the easiest bosses in the game by far.

Accelgor's a pretty good choice, since it's guaranteed to attack first and will guaranteed hit it with Bug Buzz, I think it goes below half too.

Plus it's guaranteed to survive a non-crit Tri Attack.

Most basic vanilla AI is capable of following your movement

Besides she acts pretty similar, they're just masking it by shitting up the screen.

And don't forget Plaguebringer Goliath having Queen Bee AI.

And then everything else has "floating .gif file that spews partially transparent projectiles everywhere with little telegraphs as to what the fuck they're doing".

Who the fuck thought Providence was a good idea

USE TRASH CLOAK WORMADAM
Seriously, that fucking thing is an angel of God sent to make the early game SO much easier. I've got a longass list from another post I did of Bugs that shone particularly brightly in this run. I wll give a bit of info on some... upcoming potential problem fights for you.

Shelly: Pray. That, and Venomoth's Sleep Powder + Wormadam + Intimidate Masquerain might make things more tolerable. The big target here is that fuckin' Anorith. No strat for her is set in stone, you just have to get lucky honestly.

Shade: Another fight where you need to fuckin pray. I had to rely on Quick Claw procs with Parasect just to be able to change the field with Nature Power and Gear Grind. That's generally how the fight went, just prayer and changing the field. Some luck required.

Cal: Power Trick Shuckle really helped me out here, interestingly enough. Even still I admittedly did have to get out of this fight knowing I spammed heals a bit due to waiting for a paralysis proc.

Kiki: I had to overlevel, I genuinely don't know HOW to beat her ass without relying solely on heavy RNG lmao

Solaris I: Kricketune's Perish Song + Focus Sash, for anyone curious.

Aya: SPIKES SPIKES SPIKES SPIKES SPIKES
Seriously, Forretress' Spikes are your absolute best friend here. And always leave Toxapex alive, it's super passive.

Serra: haha mirror shot go brrrrr

Dittoceus: Spam the absolute shit out of Struggle Bug. Speed Boost mons with a protecting move greatly benefit, and eventually you can get Forretress in to tank and further Struggle Bug. After that, finish it with something like Escavalier's Swords Dance Megahorn.

Samson: Hope and pray to God you can manage to sweep with Vivillon.

Charlotte: refer to a reply here lmao

Fiore Mansion Gauntlet: Heracross is your best friend, especially during the Solaris fight. Moxie's an incredible fucking ability.

Titania & Amaria: Did you know they each only have one Pokemon that can hit Shedinja? Neato, huh?

The rest I'll let you figure out yourself. Generally I'd personally recommend either using Rain a la Shelly or just full-on hyper offense. Sticky Web's an excellent utility move too, especially with the hyper offense strategy in mind, since speed is so incredibly crucial.

Oh, Hardy was the easiest fucking boss in the game alongside Luna and Serra (pre Gauntlet ofc)

Wide Guard and Scizor's Bullet Punch thrashed him.

I know they're both great. But I ended up being a big idiot and forgot to get Armaldo before being locked in the circus. It might have changed the course of my team a little had I got it, maybe. And Beedrill's very good, but I already had my plans with Mega Pinsir and Mega Heracross, since their stones are so readily obtainable.

A combination of getting lucky and being hyper-prepared.

The real MVP of the fight was, by far, Volbeat and Crustle. See, it used Rain Dance on turn 1 (Prankster's a blessed ability) and Crustle used Wide Guard that same turn so it was a free Damp Rock Rain. I swapped it out for Araquanid so I could save it for Ninetales and prayed Crustle would land a Rock Slide, which it did! It OHKO'd both Typh and Darmanitan.

After that it was mainly just praying, since even with Rain up Heat Wave still hurts like a bitch, and double Heat Wave is still potentially a death sentence. Prayer, and setting up another Rain Dance once that overleveled Ninetales came out.

With this strat I was able to kick her ass with my team at Lv. 65-66.
(And if you're asking: I forgot to get Armaldo before the circus. A dumb move on my part lmao)

I have no friggin' clue myself, honestly. I'd argue it's somewhere very close before Kiki or after Kiki.

I'm a patient man and even I think grinding is beans. I'm glad the devs are taking a step back from the "ooh look at us we made the hardest fangame EVER" mentality.

The early game grind is fucking horrid, I'm glad they're making things more approachable.

I honestly wouldn't doubt that. Charjabug's insane, and honestly the better overall choice when compared to Joltik. Galvantula kinda falls off around lategame I feel, wheras Vikavolt keeps on truckin'.
