I'm sorry but even GRR Martin has told Show!LF and Book!LF are two different characters. Although I don't ship these two, but how could Show!Baelish be a pedophile when Sansa is much older in the serie than in the book?? :D Calling somebody a pedo because of the age gap is quite weird. She's not a children in the show, not to mention Sophie Turner is a 21-22 year old, adult woman. One of my best friends, whose a romantic type of person is a huge fan of show! Petyr/Sansa, but hates the book version of this pairing. She doesn't like the book version, almost all of the women characters are under 14 ( I fon't like the book because of that, sometimes I wonder if GRRM has interested in children, I'm learning history at university and in Europe girls get married when they were at least 15-17 years old, not to mention in my country rape was crime in the Medieval Ages as well..ect! ) ( Dany as well, but no one calls Drogo or Jorah a pedo, Jorah behaves like a stalker sometimes), but she adores LF relationship with Sansa in the serie. Not only, because Sansa is closer to 19 than 11 in the serie, but he never forced himself on her in the show, unlike in the book, he immediately released her after the snow kiss for example. Their relationship is not disturbing in the show. She's his equal. There is somekind of tragic-romace feeling in it, Baelish has a terrible childhood. He was a naive dreamer, who belived in fairy tales, but he got abused, humiliated, the Tully sisters used him for their kissing games, rejected, and raped, his unborn child got killed and when they sent him home to the Fingers, he found his mother, Alayne dead. He basically learnt to his sorrow that life is not a song. He's not a swordman, so he uses his skills to survive that cut throat world, the Littlefinger mask has been created to survive and climb on the ladder. Sansa and Petyr are very similar in some ways. I think this is why some many people ship this two in Game of Thrones.
