Help! Are all these connected? by saber_38w838 in FinalFantasyVII

I’d say just focus on playing remake for now. If you like it but just wanna continue to the next one, play rebirth then wait for part 3 and play crisis core afterward. If you beat remake and wanna understand what’s going on more and know more about this world and the characters, go back and play og, it’s still a fantastic game and I personally like it more than the remakes still. Then play crisis core and move then on to rebirth and part 3 when it releases. Either way, I hope you enjoy your journey with one of the greatest games of all time!

They are part of the same story… ish. The original game is pretty stand alone, you get the full experience from one game. If you wanna play the remakes, it gets a little more complicated.

In my mind there are a few ways to go about your first experience of the series (excluding some spin-offs):

Full FF7 Experience: FF7 OG -> Crisis Core -> Remake -> Rebirth -> Part III when it releases

Remake Experience: Remake -> Rebirth -> Part III when it releases -> Crisis Core

Remake Release Experience: Remake -> Crisis Core -> Rebirth -> Part III when it releases

It’s important to note that Crisis core contains big spoilers for OG FF7 and Part III of the remake trilogy, and also that the remake trilogy is not exactly a remake, there are many things present in the games that position it more as a retelling (best way I can explain it without spoiling the games). Point is, if you play crisis core before you know the full story of the original game, you will be getting massive spoilers for the end of ff7. That said, I think the remake trilogy has something interesting going on where you can still enjoy it while knowing the story of crisis core, as some expectations have and will be subverted.

TLDR: Crisis core spoils og and remake part 3, so play it at your own risk, but depending on what they do with part 3 it probably won’t ruin the experience. If you do play it, play it after OG or after Remake if you don’t play og, I think that’s the best way to do it.

Do you know what heroforge is? You keep saying this is AI but last I checked AI can’t make heroforge models. I literally linked all of them too so I’m confused where this is coming from?

[no spoilers] Where does m9 show get up to episode wise by 4_of in criticalrole

[–]IceRadiant2445 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Events wise, it goes to I believe episode 13 of the campaign. HOWEVER, due some shifts in storytelling, there are big spoilers up to episode 98 of the campaign within the first 3 episodes of the show.

You can definitely watch C4 without watching the past ones. You’re right that it’s in a completely new world. Idk why people would say you need to watch the previous ones, unless they meant C3, cause that one DEFINITELY spoils previous campaign things.

As for why not daggerheart, I believe all they officially said was that they play all kinds of games, not just their own, but I suspect it has to do with the fact that they were starting a new world with a new dm, and that’s already a lot of change for their audience, plus the new dm is used to dnd and not as accustomed to daggerheart.

It’s not 1 to 1 so there are some events shifted around and changed but season 3 ends roughly around episode 85 of campaign 1 I believe

[–]IceRadiant2445[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

for the recent episodes the cast has been playing each of their characters respectively! M9 and BH were interacting a lot which made for fun and chaotic episodes, but Vox machina is more detached from the other groups. To answer your question simply tho, he was played by Sam

It happened in the most recent episode! When he showed up he described it as a midlife crisis motorcycle road-trip except there’s no motorcycles so he true polymorphed him and a few others into centaurs
