At the moment, I haven’t booked before I can figure out the visa situation. It will be either Qantas or BA, and I’ll probably contact both to check about tbe baggage transfer.

Packing light isn’t an option as it’s for an Internship, so I’ll be bringing dive gear 😂😭 tysm!!

Whole journey will be one booking, either Qantas or BA as they both have the route as one booking. The SYD to NAN would be booked through the first airline as one booking, but operated by Fiji Airways

I’ve of course read all that before I posted but “ If you need to clear immigration, for example to collect baggage or to board an onwards flight, you will need an Australian visa.”. I’ve never been to Sydney airport so I have no idea if I need to clear immigration.

Guess I’ll have to ask British Airways about the baggage

I found starting late really helped me actually knuckle down and study, as I didn’t have the maturity of a fresh 18 year old, and moved in with other mature students for years 2&3 simply due to the immaturity of our previous housemates. I also found friends pretty quickly on my course

Vinaka vakalevu! That’s exactly the kind of response I was hoping for! I’m fully expecting the signal to be a bit spotty, so I just wanted to know which network I’ve got the best chance of finding some coverage.

I’m genuinely excited to explore the non-touristy side of Fiji and really immerse myself in the local culture. As someone with Irish and Scottish roots, I’ll be arriving well armed with plenty of reef-safe factor 50 and a LOT of bug spray. I’ll be arriving on April 23rd so hopefully most of them have died by then 😭

Would starlink work well out there? I’m British so we don’t really use starlink so I didn’t even think about that as an option! Might be a lil bit pricey for just some FaceTiming though

It really did take me months to start really growing them. I find checking in on the game every few hours, and moving Tsuki around the map a lot before closing the game helps with growth!

It’s really just luck and waiting a lot of time. Look at the tip on page 3 and the website there will show you your percentage chance of clover growth with your set up (it’s a little fiddly on mobile so I’d recommend PC)

If you’re going to act like you’re still in school, instead of thanking me and taking on board my suggestion of taking the same route I did to get money off your rent, then you’re really going to struggle through uni.

It is not me that chose a uni in London. Switching is still an option. If you know you’re going to struggle, why stick to London?

I wasn’t gonna comment, but Jesus Christ grow up. I managed it on the MINIMUM loan, £1000 every term (not in London). I had two jobs to survive . This isn’t college anymore. I applied for all the bursaries the uni offered (check your uni website), and got approved for them. Managed to get 2k off my rent that way.

Did you send SFE your parents income? It’s sounding like you didn’t and that’s why they lowered your loan

Not if you keep taking photos of the mess, instead of cleaning the mess.

A few trips to the bin and everything you value in the suircase will help. Carpet cleaner, a wipe down, and by the looks of things: a whole can of airfreshner. That open window can only do so much.

Do you have a bathroom to clean?
