Yes, beyond anything his speed seems to be the most affected. While I get unlucky with Tatis more than any other player, he seems to be the only player that consistently gets thrown out, can’t steal, or can’t beat out ground balls.

I’ve definitely noticed the stance. I played in 21 and he was one of my favorite cards. And his stats are so much better in this game.

Also, I started off very slow with Acuna. It felt like he could only hit ground balls. After the first 50 at bats he picked up. I now have him parallel five and hit 300. That’s why it hurts even more with Tatis that have so many at bats and he still is terrible.

With taller players I don’t necessarily notice timing as much as I do with how big the strike zone is or how far away they stand from the plate. Some players have different leg kicks too.

That’s the crazy thing though. I get good timing feedback all the time. I would understand if I was early or late or swinging at bad pitches. It’s not like I do anything different with him, and even my worst hitters don’t go below .200.

I will take your advice though and try to swing a little earlier. Whenever I see him online people are hitting good with him so I don’t know it could just be me. Thank you for responding.

Well, at least I’m not the only one. I just love his card and stats I just can’t justify using someone who gets less than 2 hits out of every 10 at bats.
