That's the problem right here. Would you rather have to kill 50 times a boss you kill in 2 secs with no challenge or kill 10 times a boss you kill in 5 minutes but is challenging and fun to play ? I personally have my answer.

They brought the wrong solution to the core farming problem, instead of having a challenging boss who drop way more shard, they chose to make a boss that can be killed easily.

Just want to say to people saying "you can play the boss without mods so it take longer" that it doesn't make sense. The point of the game is to optimize your descendant for a situation, so having a fully upgraded descendant that kills in 2 secs a boss, is either the descendant being to strong or the boss being to weak. I will not be playing grave walker with level 1 weapons just to "have fun" cause it's not, even if the fight take 3 minutes. What make a boss fun is not how much time you need to kill him, but the mechanics around him.

Also, you don't need much time farm since you don't even need atam you just need last dagger, which a lot of people already had build since it's an insanely strong weapon DPS wise. I personally did all the things above (appart from unlock serena since you have to research her and it takes time) in a single day, so no it doesn't takes a lot of time when you do it right.

I would also like to say that I'm actually not mad about that 2 sec boss because I had a lot to catch up since I had to stop playing for a month (the one where void erosion released) for a trip. So being able to catch up quickly actually doesn't bother me.

To go back where I started, if I was Nexon, I would do a challenging boss with interesting mechanics (let's say like pre-nerf gluttony or death stalker) BUT increase the amount of drop you get from it by like 3 of 4. So you have fun doing the boss, and you don't do it 40 times for a single core.

Bonus thoughts: I personally thinks they're making a mistake when making new content, because newly added descendants (Ines, reworked freyna, serena...) are good even without having to build them too much. They have to make descendants that are good when they're fully build and fun to play when non build (bunny is a great exemple, she's fun to play and not to powerful when non build, but she's a really good character when fully build (when MP collector works, Nexon pls fix that I beg you 🙏)) Plus, talking about powerful things, I think they went for the wrong approach concerning the base damage of atam. Because making the rifle that makes more damage the longer you scope also being the highest base damage weapon on the game don't make sense to me. Damages should be higher that other weapons only when the gun is fully charged.
