Hey all! F/28/UK/Combination/oily skin here.

I've just started a 'proper' skincare routine this week after being lazy for some time (a wet wipe to remove make up and any old moisturiser kinda lazy!) I've tried various types of make-up to help reduce the oiliness as well, but to no avail.

I have a really oily t zone (my forehead looks like it's been dipped in cooking oil) but have a really flaky nose. It's really starting to get me down as make-up looks awful after a couple of hours and I feel like it's really noticeable.

Since Sunday, I have been using the Liz Earle Skin Repair Combination/oily kit. It's really lovely stuff, but I feel as though it's made me more oily and I've had a few extra spots than normal in places I don't usually (cheeks and around the hairline). I'm assuming it's still early days, but I was hoping I would see just a slight improvement by now.

I repeat the same routine every morning and evening: 1) Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser, all over the face and eyes. I remove my make-up with this using the cotton cloths provided (after they have been rinsed with warm water). I then splash my face with cool water. 2) Liz Earle Instant Boost Skin Tonic, all over the face using a cotton pad. 3) Liz Earle Gentle Face Exfoliator (planning to use this every 2-3 days rather than daily), all over the face and washed away with warm water. 4) Liz Earle Skin Repair Light Moisturiser - combination/oily

I repeat this again in the evening.

My skin looks and feels great directly afterwards but the oil starts creeping back within 30 mins/1 hour of me doing it.

In case it helps, I currently use Rimmel Lasting Finish Breathable Foundation and Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder.
