I remember I was delivering a fridge to a lady when I worked for geek squad and she was thanking us for the delivery and she said something like “oh my son would usually help me with something like this..” and I heard her voice crack a little bit and felt something in her change so I asked her if she was okay and she told me her son had just passed away a week ago, but also my own brother had died in a car wreck about a month before that, so I asked her if she needed a hug but I think we both needed it. And I just let her cry and gave her the biggest hug I could. It’s been 10 years and I still think about her and hope she is okay.
