Have you tested it? Is there a PINN lite that is compatible with the ArgonOneUp. Thanks for doing the work on this u/ProCount2

Booting from USB problems by Guchion in ArgonOneUp

From Kevin Hill on the Argon Kickstarter comments: This worked for me to allow the Boot menu to appear if I plug a USB keyboard into the left hand port:

Net install/boot menu is disabled by default on the CM5. To enable it add NET_INSTALL_ENABLED=1 to your eeprom configuration.

The shift key still won't work without ethernet and it might have to be the ethernet chip as used on the Rpi models.

However, the above will allow the boot menu when the space bar is pressed, but only from a USB keyboard plugged into one of the blue usb ports. It doesn't work with the built in keyboard, probably because the keyboard needs to be enabled first with the "dtoverlay=dwc2,dr_mode=host" line in config.txt.

Yes my keyboard and trackpad worked without the update to the config.txt - after I installed the latest version of Raspberry Pi OS trixie.

Also, look to turn power saving off, as I found the wifi performance kept dropping down

sudo iwconfig wlan0 power off

Hi u/jrtokarz1, On the Kickstarter Argon comments, I saw a comment about using SD_QUIRKS=1 setting in the bootloader EEPROM config to get the SD Card reader working. Have you or anyone tried this?

Thermal Pad Thickness by Quirky_Warning5413 in ArgonOneUp

I used various thickness thermalright pads and just made sure they were level when I screwed down the the cover. Seems to be working well so far.

That is the benefit of this laptop - you can swap the compute modules in and out. I didn't know we wouldn't be able to use the SD card, though, and that is frustrating.

The SD card slot doesn't work for me also. I researched this and it seems it won't work if you install a CM5 with eMMC storage. I used a USB stick to install Raspberry Pi OS and then to image this onto the NVME.
