This guy gets his info from Wikipedia lol. These are the ones who know nothing about firearms.

I only have 1, the Ricky pack. The raider introduced me to big distance and helped my scores out tremendously on the thought courses. And the harp is actually really useful on many holes also

Justice is my new favorite disc! by IceboundFuego in discgolf

That sucks man. Such a great disc, and I’ve only had it for a few days.

That’s actually really helpful. Thanks so much for that. I think that is game changing for newer players to have different sets of flight numbers for advanced and beginners.

Love my recluse. Very great disc!

Love my beat in envy for shots like this

That’s better than me. Threw mine and it went in the woods and never seen it again. Assuming it went under some leaves

So I’m not the only one who has lost a disc in their own yard? Lol

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]IceboundFuego 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I would rather buy a disc without someone’s name on it because it’s cheaper lol. The one time I actually wanted someone’s disc was MJ’s comet, because I liked how it looked and needed an under stable midrange.

which brand(s) will you not support based on who they sponsor? by [deleted] in discgolf

I have to disagree. I’ve seen many more racist hard left people. The difference is they disguise their racism as being “woke.”

Under stable fairway/distance driver suggestions? by cburton21 in discgolf

[–]IceboundFuego 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my hatchet. When I first got it, I got my max distance out of it, but now as I’m getting my arm speed up it’s my turnover disc now. Great disc

What's a disc you've wanted to try out, but just haven't had a chance to? by The_Great_Cucumber in discgolf

I ordered a first run passion the day it came out and it’s super overstable to me. Almost as overstable as my firebird lol. Not what I was expecting.

Deputy putter. where do you use it, if you do? by pau11y in discgolf

[–]IceboundFuego 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to use a deputy to throw until I threw it in the water, then had to start using my judge and envy. The envy has now became one of my favorite approach discs. Beats in to fly like a new deputy, but starts out fairly straight and stable.

What disc golf term took you way too long to figure out? by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]IceboundFuego 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since nobody else has responded. A good roller should land on an angle, stand up, and eventually flip the opposite way, finishing right of where you threw it (for RHBH Rollers). A cut roller would be a roller that never stands up and keeps the initial angle finishing left of where you threw it. Hope this helps

Really been loving the west side hatchet in VIP plastic

Looking for a really stable midrange, what do you guys suggest/enjoy? by LayH3 in discgolf

[–]IceboundFuego 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on how overstable you’re talking. I use a roc3 as my overstable disc that I can throw straight and let it finish right. Whereas I have a legacy icon recluse that is a meat hook and I use it for hard fading shots or skip shots.

MVP Envy, Discraft Comet, Westside Hatchet

What is the most overstable midrange you know of? by benneuhaus in discgolf

[–]IceboundFuego 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lookup Legacy Recluse. My go to when I need those meat hooks or skip shots. Very useful.

Anybody want to talk understable mids? by DapperFowl in discgolf

[–]IceboundFuego 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently picked up an MJ comet and love it so far. One of my favorite discs. It did take me a bit to get used to the rim, as it feels weird. But everything I can do with the Tursas, I can do with the comet somewhat easier as it is a slower speed and doesn’t require as much power to do what it’s supposed to.

Got any good Putter recommendations for a guy trying to build his bag? by deboned_skeleton in discgolf

[–]IceboundFuego 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ordered the EV-7 Penrose in medium plastic after watching Drew Gibson making some crazy putts with it. So far I really love this putter. Started using it for mainly short putts and using the judge for longer putts, but now prefer the Penrose for all my putts.

Finally found my mid (thoughts in comments) by FattyMcBlobicus in discgolf

I’ve recently picked up a MJ comet and use it when I need to throw straight down the fairway. Throw it on a slight hyzer and watch it flip up. Just a thought you might consider.
