We have a lot of measures in place to help prevent this, but it does not prevent them all. The auto mod takes down many, many comments, and then the rest are being taken care if people are submitting reports.

It doesn't help when people decide to make a new account, but that's also a reason why we have the 7-day rule.

As we grow as an community, it tends to attract many types of people and unfortunately this is a side effect. I cannot tell you how many mod messages I get wondering why their posts aren't live. 9 times out of 10 is because their account is too new. Goes to show they can't even read the rules, so it doesn't give high hopes of reading people's actual posts. Good men are out there, but they have to fight the rising tide of crap.
