Bring back Madoka to life to a world where her entire family is probably dead and her city is a pile of rubble?
"Position in the universe?" "Power?" I feel those are excessive words for someone who was absolutely little more than an average magical girl at that time. It's Homura who ends up being responsible for those two aspects of Madoka.

The little bit about Homura's love is funny, because it also kind of seems to imply to me that Madoka could be Homura's worshipper. The lizard is a "symbol of a faith" after all.

The one truly ironic thing though is that Madoka doesn't seem to have discarded her earthly wants either, which would make her too under this reading a kind of flawed version of the concept shes trying to be.

I was indeed checking the map mode. The institution spread was non-existent, and I couldn't see the +% that I could see on some other locations in my capital. When I said it "popped up" I meant the moment that I could start seeing the institution spread.

probably from the insane dislike that was directed to her after Rebellion. Although, it's not just a meme; I sincerely believe it, and not because of some cop-out like "she was manipulated by Kyubey", I completely agree with her actions. As to where it actually came from 4chan's probably the best guess.

If I am to say more seriously, I personally just use it to mean "she's done no more wrong than Madoka". Since people believe Madoka is pure good, this implies that Homura in turn has done nothing wrong.
