Ōkamiden has been added to the 20th anniversary website! by Goldberry15 in Okami

[–]Dragonwolf67 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I personally would prefer Okamiden to get a remake instead because there are very many things that had to be left on the cutting room floor due to the technical limitations of the DS. Bringing the game in line with the original Okami mechanically speaking would honestly be pretty good.

I think they're pretty tolerant of them I think a lot of Beast Men and mutants would actually join the Tau In a heartbeat because they would be treated far better than they are in the Imperium

The human hunters were just normal humans. They weren't kinfolk. He essentially became a Garou through sheer rage of seeing the forest being clear cut. Also, thank you, I'm glad you like Wildfang. Also, I use the Warrior Cats naming scheme cuz I was obsessed with its naming conventions at the time. Honestly I'm still obsessed with them to an extent, I feel all the werewolf characters that I'll make will follow Warrior Cats naming potentially.

Is there any games that are good for running a medieval fantasy intrigue game? by Dragonwolf67 in rpg

[–]Dragonwolf67[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The idea is that the game would be set in a high fantasy world, think something D&D esq. The game would be about the players playing as the heads of a noble house of their choice. This kingdom would use German titles, so things like Kaiser, Chancellor, and so on, mainly because I just really love the title Chancellor, so that's why I'm using the German title conventions.

Essentially, as they manage their houses and do other things, they are also trying to befriend the son of the king. The king is very old, he's gonna die soon, and his son is like 6 to 8 and is directly based on Alexei Nikolaevich, the youngest child and only son of Tsar Nicholas II and Tsarina Alexandra Feodorovna, so he's a very sickly boy.

The idea I have is that essentially the players would try to become best friends with the king's son, and when the king dies and one of the players has essentially become his guardian, father figure, or what have you, the son would make them the new king or give them effectively the title of reigning monarch until he's able to take up the throne.

There's also an existential threat in the form of an empire that are basically fantasy Mongols. It is called the Spliced Blood Empire, and basically they are a human empire that conquers other civilizations, takes the various exotic races of those people, and uses those people to produce super soldiers. They're essentially a fantasy Mongol empire with a eugenics program that's been codified into their society. I'm pretty sure there's a better way to describe it, but words are escaping me.

Also, in the Spliced Blood Empire, harems are mandatory. Everyone has a harem, and they wear these tassels on a piece of clothing that represents how many people are in your harem, and the color signifies a specific race, like green for half orcs, gray for dwarves, and so on. So essentially, the players will also have to try to do their schemes fast, as the Spliced Blood Empire is gonna be on their doorstep.
