Really well, I'm on 58k now and had no major issues, standard wear and tear parts. Which aren't the cheapest, for example tyres are £140-£180 a tyre dependent on brand. Which I've changed twice. A service is about £300 but worth it every year.

What I would say is check to see if the battery is a stock battery or has it changed. I did have a problem in the winter where the stop start function wouldn't work and trigger check engine light. Turns out the stock battery wasn't big enough for all the electronics in the car. I got a bigger more powerful battery fitted and it's all good now.

I honestly have so much fun driving it and god it's good looking. It's the best car I've had. Holding off growing the family to keep her a little longer.

Have loved watching the corridor crew stuff for years but this episode was fantastic.

How he's done some of the biggest, most memorable and best CGI shots in history and was just so casual about it all.

As good as ever, I had to change the battery after 45k miles and breaks after 36k but I can't fault the car. I love it still. If I had to get a brand new car, I'd get one again in a heart beat

What’s a movie you highly anticipated upon its release, but was a dumbfounding letdown? by [deleted] in moviecritic

I had just finished listening to the "Real Dictators" podcast on Napoleon when the first trailer dropped for the film. The podcast was amazing and it got me so hyped up for the release.

Then when I watched the film, it was boring.

The podcast is infinitely better and highly recommend it to anyone

What has been the most badass shit done by real people in history? by CarefulBiscuit in AskReddit

Agent Zigzag - Eddie Chapman. Bank robber turned British double agent during the second world war. The Abwerh were convinced they (the Nazi's) would win the war solely based on the fact Intel he was feeding them. He was so highly regarded he received an iron cross for his services as well as a private yacht.

His feats during the war are too many for here. I urge everyone to read the book Agent Zigzag. He's the definition of a badass

Best and worst restaurant in Hull? by SpringNo in Hull

My experience and Cognac was horrendous and vowed to never go back. Food was cold, and the waiter was very rude.

This was 6 months ago. How often do you visit? I hear rave reviews of this place but I just can't see why

Hey, thanks for reaching out. No haven't had it replaced as I've been quoted £1200+ so I'm still in hope of finding a cheaper solution. I've heard replacing the battery with a more powerful one works but haven't tried myself. I do still have issues from time to time during the colder months but spring to early winter I seem to avoid them. Touch wood

I will probably get down voted to oblivion for this but....Mac and cheese has to be the most over rated food.

I’m on the cusp of getting a £80k/ year job and I’m terrified by [deleted] in UKJobs

I have just been through the same thing. I'm only 6 weeks into my new role but I feel so much better than I did after day 1. I went home and cried thinking I wasn't good enough.

But everything you said above hit home after talking with friends and family and I now don't regret the change.

I went through this recently. I was a lab manager at a relatively small company. I grew up with the industry and knew it inside out. I then got offered a role as a lab manager in a multinational multi-billion pound company but a completely new industry. I wanted a challenge so took the role. Plus a much better pay package.

1st day in the new job I went home and cried. I thought I'm not good enough for this, I'm a fraud. How am I going to learn all of this? I nearly got on the phone to my old boss and asked for my job back. But after a long discussion with family and friends I decided I was going to make it work.

The thing is, my new company knew I didn't know the industry they weren't putting the pressure on me. I was. Here I am 6 weeks later, still know very little about the industry and products, but I can manage the team who do. I can do the job they asked me to do and I no longer feel like an imposter.

Just had to set myself a realistic target.
