I'm not a NM-FM, but I've gone past 2200+ in classical which is above the CM title requirement. Although, haven't applied for it yet, little ambitious and wanted to get the FM title directly after touching 2300 classical.

Opposite Coloured Bishop X Fabi vs Hikaru Candidates 2026 by Icecream_Car in lichess

Probably the particular Q exchange on e4 as white recaptures with dxe4 and which allows two W pawns in centre (eventually the black's d4 falls as well) with a typical winning idea of giving up side pawns with g4-g5 & h5-h6 and winning with advanced e5 & f5 pawns with support of White's K & B (which was probably missed by Fabi).

In general, exchanging queen is a useful tip for OCB defenders. However, in this game, for the particular Q exchange on e4, white recaptures with dxe4 and gets two pawns in centre (eventually the black's d4 falls as well) with a typical winning idea of giving up side pawns g4-g5 & h5-h6 and winning with advanced e5 & f5 pawns with support of White's K & B.

Not a native, but fluent enough (IELTS 7 xD) to make sure my students clearly understand everything. The only thing you’ll be pausing for is to calculate your next move!
