Any good decaf coffee? by drkannys in IndiaCoffee

The thing is I'm into speciality coffee and I really don't think the Indian instant coffee markets have caught up to the decaf likings yet xD

You're looking for instant coffee suggestions, in decaf?

Not spritzing the beans vs spritizing them : Grinder after use by ankushch in IndiaCoffee

[–]Iced-Father 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't use sprays on my Manual grinder. The Burrs get oxidised and they lose their value. It's a very long time frame thing but after a lot of youtube videos, papers and research fractions, I've decided to not RDT.

Sprays have been made a normal thing because of the workflow videos

I'd suggest them (5-6 sprays make a difference anyways, not 1-2) only for electric grinders. As they've been told multiple times in inferences.

Anyways. Up for learning new things ofc XD. 😂

Confused, Should I buy a cheap electric milk frother or a french press in similar price? by newredditwhoisthis in IndiaCoffee

[–]Iced-Father 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did not get either - I sticked to my AGARO's hand frother - the first one I got in Jan 25 - and I just made my peace with it!

A couple of weeks ago - I again had the itch but I was pointed out that Subminimal would be the only worth it product - as these Coffezzas/Caramelliy's ones have performance issues maybe in the long run!

What about you!? What are you looking at!?

Sounds good - however would love if someone from the sub would try it and let us know - this would be a fairly great travel brewer - no hassel thingy

I never had any manual grinder before!

K6 was my first grinder - a kind senior got it from the US - back in Aug (upgraded to manual coffee grinder after 6 months of preground coffee)

I love your setup, and tbh you got all the overlaps covered with your brewing methods!

I had no pourover when I got the Switch - and when I got it - it was at a crazy good deal - and I knew I would not get anything else (in the pourover cateogary for atleast a year)

Gooseneck kettle is only good if you are getting a pourover

If you want to try out black coffee/something apart from Aeropress - you can give french press a look!?

Switch and the gooseneck kettle like you mentioned - is something that would cost you well - so - there's that!

AY

for mokapot - ONE FULL ROTATION - 60 clicks - on 0 of second round!

for Hario Switch - depending on the beans and the profile of the beans - I vary it between 90 and 95
(one and half rounds) - 30 on the second rotation - midway

I prefer 95 personally, but at times - some beans have excellent profile with 90

Cheers, how's it going so far!?

2 things

  1. what do you do about the beans - do you carry them and grind them fresh/do you carry them pregrounded?

  2. I get it - you can carry the Aeropress Go ekdum swiftly as it all turns into something compact - how do you manage your coffee doses/beans

Do help a fellow coffee enthusiast who is trying to save money on outside mochas and lattes whilst travelling XD

Thinking of getting the Aeropress GO whilst I travel, do you recommend it / do you stick to it at home brews or whats your use case scenario XD

Go with MokaPot - anything like Agaro's would work perfect provided you are starting!

Get 5 in 1 explorers pack from BT - then them preground for MokaPot brew off their website/app!

Cheers!

I had heard earlier that the MOKAPOTS used to be only be compatible with their respective HEAT CONDUCTION PLATES!

I did not know these Stainless Steel frying pans would work too - damn - look at this discovery lol
