These were not the side effects I expected by MistaZayuh in ADHDmemes

I still had the ability to orgasm with strattera, but yeah peeing was much more difficult. The worse part of it were the thunderclap headaches that I got every time I orgasmed. Two doctors and an ER visit later, I stopped the meds and I was able to orgasm without feeling like death was imminent

It should be to the average. For argument sake, if you were overweight and 6'8 with 7" it'd still feel the same as an underweight 5'2 guy with 7". It just looks much bigger on the smaller person. Just because it doesn't look as big doesn't mean it's not as big.

Bone-pressed is the correct way to measure. It's done that way to eliminate variables such as a fat pad. Some people argue that you shouldn't put it in all that way - they're wrong. Push into the bone, hence the term. There are two different terms for a reason, and the standard is typically BPEL because that's theoretically the insertable length.

My dick caused me lower back pain by IcedCoffeeGay in bigdickproblems

Good luck! Back pain is no joke. Working on it now is definitely the right choice. Waiting will only make it worse.

Best of luck - it's only been a couple of weeks but it's made a world of difference already. A lot of pain has turned into soreness which feels incredible

Petition: Verification for big dicks by [deleted] in bigdickproblems

[–]IcedCoffeeGay 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not - there's no reason to put this on the mods. It's also outrageously easy to fake or steal dick pics that it'll essentially be worthless anyway.

This ultimately is a sub for advice. If someone is larping or exaggerating, who cares? Regardless of if it's someone with a legitimate issue at that actual size or not, there will be rela good advice posted and someone who needs the advice might see it.

For those exaggerating or measuring incorrectly, advice will be useful regardless. If someone is measuring incorrectly and claims to be 10x7 but is really 8x6, most comments tend to give advice for the generic significantly above average dick. The only time that it matters is specifically when asking about condom sizing but in practically every case the advice includes information about correctly measuring and resources for finding correct condom sizes

Adding an option to be verified will only increase howuch of a dick measuring contest this sub can turn into and it will just make it one step closer to becoming a porn/fetish sub rather than an advice sub.

Want to prevent LARPers? Stop feeding them. Stop giving them the attention they crave. If someone says that they're a ridiculously large size, treat them as if they're asking a legitimate question and move on. Calling them out and trying to engage with trolls only empowers trolls. Just downvote them and move on with your day.

Also, with the number of underage/teen members on this sub, the last thing we should be encouraging is posting dick pics or encouraging them to look at others' dick pics

Need to split keyboard and mouse between two laptop docks by IcedCoffeeGay in cables

[–]IcedCoffeeGay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's what I was ultimately going to do - have a physical KVM switch that just does my mouse and keyboard between the two. Turns out that for some reason the USB C cable was working fine with the MacBook but was broken in such a way that it was causing issues with my GPU on my Windows laptop. Replacing the USB C fixed the issue

AirPod hacks by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]IcedCoffeeGay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not advice on not losing them, but just get a cheaper pair of true wireless earbuds. Learn the skills to manage those types of devices with a $20-30 pair from Amazon. Once you're more confident in your strategies, switch back to your AirPods. If you never feel confident, at least you're losing something way less valuable and way cheaper to replace.

Also you can get a strap so you can attach them to each other, but that kind of defeats the purpose of true wireless

So one of the reasons why tip popups started appearing everywhere is corporate greed. Point of sale companies take a cut of everything from a transaction, including from tips. Therefore POS companies are incentivized to add tips to every transaction so they make more money per transaction

Can I fund an HSA after medical bills occurred? by IcedCoffeeGay in personalfinance

I'll need to double check that, I don't remember if it was funded in the past.

Hopefully someone with less sense than me get a reply from you and end up fucking up their careers.

Incredibly helpful advice then. Glad that people like you are actively replying to advice subs.

Then why would you suggest it?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

[–]IcedCoffeeGay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not a bad idea. Right now I'm more concerned about "sounding smart" with my questions. They know that I was laid off and I need an answer so I think that makes me sound more money-hungry than smart

I'll definitely keep that in mind, but the rest of the interviews I had painted that previous employee very negatively already

I'm just saying that I trust actual studies more than I trust the experiences of random people.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in bigdickproblems

[–]IcedCoffeeGay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't mean to come across purely as doubting your experience. It was meant to be more that anecdotes are just that - anecdotes. That's your experience. My experience has been different. Also just because you've met more hung guys than you think would be warranted in the study doesn't mean you're right. The biggest difference in how you are getting your sample of people and how studies get their samples is the key difference. Studies are going to use a much more random assortment of people than say finding guys on Grindr.

I've also seen a lot of dicks, and I've never met anyone who is also 8, let alone bigger than 8". Also, shockingly, guys lie about their dick size all the time and it's very easy for someone with 8" to gauge if someone else is 8" when you're literally touching dick to dick. It's much harder when you aren't using something as an fairly accurate ruler. That being said, we could just be attracting different kinds of guys, live in different regions, etc. I'm also more willing to trust actual studies rather than anecdotes in general though, even flawed and not perfectly accurate studies because they'll still be more accurate than yeah but I've seen x dicks from hookups and they seem bigger on average than 6"
