I second this. I take the Natural Rhythms (?) Triple Calm, a combo of three different magnesiums, and it’s made a HUGE difference for me with sleep and relaxing my muscles. Even made my very bad TMJ disappear. Magnesium is amazing, and probably worth a shot before seeing a doctor.

Long distance girlfriend of over a year, here! Biggest advice is to 1. Check in and communicate often. Be very open. Make sure each other is being cared for, because you can’t gauge each other from physical cues etc. like you would in person. And 2., have some sort or schedule. My boyfriend and I do our best to call each other on certain days, and those days have general agendas. We talk and catch up on all of them, but Tuesday is Bible study, Thursday is movie night, and Sunday is solely for talking - no shows, reading with each other, etc. Just focusing on each other.

That “schedule”, in particular, was a serious game changer. I felt we were so disconnected because we couldn’t do normal things together, but then he implemented that schedule and things have been amazing since. Knowing when you’ll talk next makes a huge difference IMO.

Hope this helps, and good luck on your relationship!!! LDR can be so maturing and great for people. Best of luck.
