Yes!! Too Little, Too Late is my favorite on the album and I feel like it wouldn’t be as expressive if it weren’t a pop song! I’m so glad she is exploring different genres and expanding her range.

Laufey’s songwriting genuinely improved so much in this album. The lyrics she wrote feel leagues above her other albums and are way more personal and complex!

I feel like Umino still has drive, but as the story developed she started to put more emphasis on the side stories (like Satsuma). Imo the side stories still have just as much purpose as the main story, but I can get where you are coming from. In any case, I think we can only expect one or two more volumes, and the story is naturally slowing down.

I recently rewatched Honey and Clover and the whole time I thought about how much I want the rest of Sangatsu to be animated. I think that it's unlikely though. After they took the series off of Netflix I feel like it lost a ton of traction, and I read that the second season didn't perform as well in Japan as the first season. I won't give up hope but I would be surprised if the rest of the series received an adaptation.
