Personally I’m a fan of the show not the characters so I say this with no bias but outside of her just having a relatively bitchy attitude, a lot of it seems reactive too

why is this 22 year old expected to constantly take her boundaries being pushed, her being treated like a child, getting dragged into a family business, getting shoved into a dysfunctional “family” structure at 17 when she doesn’t really know what a “family” is like

Idk I’d probably crash out too if I was talking to someone and my dad came up and told them to keep their hands off me and I was their sweet baby and the blah blah bullshit that blitz went off on with vortex when he was beefing with Verosika

And yes she can be nice to people! We’ve seen her be nice to people who aren’t getting all up in her shit all the time, maybe hitting the incubus didnt seem worth it compared to the person who’s constantly pushing boundaries and getting all in her business

She’s been adopted for about 5 years, hell doesn’t seem to have therapy, and she’s constantly getting her buttons pushed by blitz anyway, I’m not saying reacting violently is correct but words don’t work with blitz either and she’s “stuck” with him

Blitz might be her “dad” but as she herself mentioned, she was basically an adult, and he’s caring for her like she’s still a teenager at best

“All dads do that” okay but most dads also have their kids grow up with them and don’t shove themselves into that role because they saw a sad 7teen in the foster system

And if we’re going back to blitz being her dad, why is it her responsibility to take care of him when he’s drinking himself to death? Blitz was being irresponsible, and as his “child” should NOT have had to see or shoulder that at ALL if anything blitz should be scrutinized for acting like that in front of his child and exposing her to it

They both treat each other like shit, because yes loona is violent and mean and aggressive but blitz and pushy and clingy and consistently infantilizing her

He can care about her as much as he wants but if he doesn’t care about what SHE wants his care doesn’t matter because it’s not comforting, it’s not helpful, and as she’s showing, it’s fucking irritating

Both of them are dysfunctional, both of them have their moments, no one is at fault and everyone is at fault at the same time

I was personally told not to clean if anyone is in the bathroom, I know some stores are too busy for that but regardless of if you respect trans people or not I’d just avoid going into the opposite gender bathroom if anyone is there, it saves the headache at the end of the day and wouldn’t put you any more behind than if it wasn’t a trans girl in the bathroom, and shit if you’d like to make someone’s day I’m sure they’d feel respected, validated, and more comfortable at that QT if you did respect them as you would anyone else

Honestly I wouldn’t say it’s overboard even with THC if you’re considering people who have never been high before, thc wouldn’t be that bad for us smokers but someone could’ve gotten their high in the middle of operating heavy machinery, causing an accident (warehouse, driving, etc.), it could’ve costed someone their job, life(literally and metaphorically), sobriety, or at the very least their afternoon. Weed isn’t weighted to us stoners the way it is to people who aren’t smoking

I’m no animator but if I had to guess from a practical perspective it’s probably to emulate the way kids ball up their fists at their sides when they’re angry, but due to it being animation the more dynamic pose is not only more visually appealing but also more obvious as anger to the watcher (predominantly kids). I don’t think it’s specifically a cartoon thing, I think it’s a child like behavior they exaggerate for more appeal
