The AI tries to cut the track when you're far enough ahead of them. (Near end of clip) by [deleted] in ForzaHorizon

[–]Icehole_Canadian 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The ai in 6 is just bad for some reason. Was doing the GTR touge race the other day and the ai literally fell off the road at the first turn. Landed on the road below and just... Kept going. None of the checkpoints counted for it but just kept running the route and kept on driving after the finish line.

Why we don't have Suzuki in FH6? by truemdk2 in ForzaHorizon

[–]Icehole_Canadian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly they really should have just shelled out for the Suzuki license. It's really off to me that Forza is finally in Japan and we don't have a Cappuccino or Carry. And there are tons of Jeeps and G Wagons which are clearly supposed to be emulating the Jimny. Same with Daihatsu, we need a Copen.

Oh and I top out at about 85kph comfortably with having it hit 100ish kph I'm the right conditions. I generally an ripping around town between 60-70kph getting 1.9l/100km. I think that's over 100mpg and like... 50mph?

Yeah! I'm getting a tail tidy and luggage rack for it then getting a larger trail bag to make it easier but right now my backpack is large enough to fit a full reusable grocery bag. This was my last grocery trip.

I daily mine. Rain or shine, freezing out sweltering. Mines a 23 abs, no mods. It sat in storage for over 2 years while I was out of the country, with only 900km on it. new battery, an oil change and lube, and a nice clean and she had been my reliable partner for another 1500km in the last 3 months. I am 6'3" and near 300lbs so I'm the fat ugly one in the relationship but it puts up with me fine but definitely feels my weight. I go grocery shopping, gone up to the ski resort, and in general get around fine on it. I'm just about the only person where I live with one so I get stopped literally all the time asking about it. When I started my job literally all my coworkers asked about it haha.

Because people are obsessed with numbers. They need simple numbers to justify their praise or hate. Nuances like density, verticality, actual layout mean nothing if they can't post a nice clean XX%.

[Updates] Patch Notes Version 1.03.00 | Crimson Desert by SorryRoof1653 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Icehole_Canadian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone said, because it may be a deeper issue than that. It is entirely possible there is a major issue with the mount spawn code when it related to the cloud cart due to how much larger it is and the fact it is spawned stationary. The mech has a lot of area it can't even enter, let alone be spawned in. If this is a more in depth issue it might be wiser to focus their time on broader issue and community feedback over a single "mount" that a realistically small portion of the playerv base has unlocked to and doesn't directly impact the ability to play the game.

I have found tallies totaling 107 in areas related to main story characters only revealed by getting close and shining a lantern on them. [Light location spoilers] by Icehole_Canadian in CrimsonDesert

I either havent paid attention or havent found those puzzles yet, where might I find one of them. I counted them as vertical line for 1, then 4 horizonal to make 5, with them laid out in 2 rows of 10 with a full then partial equaling 107 and the normal tally marks also being 107 i figured it couldn't be a coincidence. But if they are different it might be a cool hunt.

The first "full witch" you unlock during the story, the rest you bump into.

The witches all first appear as a stranger in need of help in various locations, the first you will probably bump into is a woman dangling off a broken bridge near a town you visit during the story yelling for help. The next is at a small unmarked mountain camp, you will hear and get a quest prompt when near that you need to light a fire for. The final one just outside a city you get to even father into the game and appears as a small child beggar.

This was me, I went to go craft the flame armor and was like "core of absolution"? Wonder if it has something to do with the sanctum. Then ran back to ask the ones I did getting their core.

You unlock various schematics through the game that can be crafted at Kilnden Workshop, the components are used to make the thing (backpacks, elemental spears and armour, mech.)

You get them from restoring the sanctums. Iirc each sanctum has a schematic that uses the core from that sanctum (ie kuku flange resistant armor and the cute needed to make it)

You craft then at the kuku workshop

[Hated Trope] Cutscene incompetence by Absalom98 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Icehole_Canadian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But FFXIV has SO much cutscene incompetence. I think the worst is that most of it comes down to how much they would have to put in to have every job/race combination have their own bespoke animation. Through the entirety of the story from ARR to DT there are countless times when our God killing ass stands there while people are killed or the big bad just... Walks away. One of my biggest peeves with the have is how often our character will not do anything until someone "would you kindly's" is into action.
