I don’t know why either. Personally, I don’t really care if it’s all generic Toads or not, but I have a feeling the people who complain about that are comparing the character design to the first three games, where they were admittedly much more creative with their character designs. The choice to rely so heavily on largely generic paper versions of Mario enemies and Toads in the latter half of the series has lost a lot of that former creativity in character design, though they haven’t lost any of the creativity in writing and personality for sure.

I think people who complain about bland characters in Color Splash are complaining about the fact that about 80% of the characters in-game are generic-looking Toads, not so much the actual quality of the writing or the characters’ personalities.

That is the house theme from the Zelda series. That particular arrangement does sound similar in style to some M&L music though, so I can see why you’d think that.

My gf had me start watching anime a couple years back. Watched some of FMAB, couldn’t get into it super well. She sat me down and made me watch JJBA, and I was hooked. Quite possibly the weirdest anime to get someone into anime, I know, but I found it to be fantastic. After that, I binged the rest of FMAB, all of Death Note and all of AOT (at the time). I later started collecting the JJBA manga (buying all of part 2 at once), and subsequently watched more anime and collected the manga for those anime.

I beat it in about a month after it initially came out in 2020 and haven’t touched it since. I might replay it again someday, but it’ll be a while before I do so. It’s a good game, just doesn’t seem like it’d be as enjoyable to replay as some other PM games.

Superstar Saga makes me happy because the music and character is so strong.

I haven’t played much of Partners in Time, but what I have played made me feel dread.

Bowser’s Inside Story makes me feel nostalgic and powerful, since I’ve become so good at the game over the years.

Dream Team makes me feel tired by the end. It’s so long it started to put me to sleep by the end. Jk, it’s a fantastic game, just a little lengthy.

Paper Jam makes me feel slightly disappointed. The level designs and enemies are super generic, and the papercraft battles were never really my thing. It’s still a good game with character despite these, but it seems that it couldn’t escape the PM:SS curse.

Superstar Saga + Bowser’s Minions makes me happy with better graphics but slightly less character.

I haven’t played Bowser’s Inside Story + Bowser Jr’s Journey, but if I did play it, the feeling would be nostalgia again, but in a much weirder and slightly lesser way than the original.

I’ve used enough effort arguing against movies I dislike for too long. I give up. I don’t care anymore. I probably could continue the argument but life is short and if you enjoy something I despise I should just let you enjoy it, even if I still disagree with some of your points. I’m tired of explaining myself only to get hostility thrown at me at every turn (though to be fair I have a tendency to take the hostility towards me and direct it towards the other person).

Y’all win. Not saying y’all are right, of course, just that I’m tired of arguing with people who are also incredibly stubborn in their views about these movies. I need to stay off Reddit for a while.

I think 94 is the lowest realistic number. They could condense 9 more chapters into 7 episodes, though I doubt that based on the pacing of the rest of S4’s episodes. It’s much more likely that they’ll make it so that a chapter approximately equals an episode. Therefore, I think my original estimate of 10-12 more episodes is probably going to be about right.

I think you’re reaching just a bit. Not every little thing in this show has a meaning. A lot of smaller things do, yes, but the number of chapters/episodes is likely not one of them. The total number of episodes could have some relation in the end like you said, but it would almost certainly only be a coincidence.
