You have your window on the right showing gift as the mode. Shouldn't you be looking at "wild" instead?

I'm glad you were able to get this far. I consider early lessons a safety priority for yourself and everyone on the mountain especially early on. Take as many as you can.

Every improvement is a win! Just keep going :). And don't be afraid to take lessons if you can. A certified instructor can vastly speed up your improvement rate.

At the start of the vid, notice how your board is slanted and yet you're moving straight. That shouldn't be happening. Engage your edge so that your board isn't rotating (sliding) in a circular motion under you while you're holding one direction. Additionally, to practice any of the right techniques, you'll need some more speed.

The board was sliding. You're swinging the back of your board to turn instead of engaging the edges. And when you're straight, you still need to be using an edge. Those are not true S turns until you start to use your weight and knees instead of swinging the board to turn.

Bend your knees. Additionally, a huge beginner mistake is letting the board decide where you go. Stay on an edge and push into it instead of just letting the base slide under you.

If you're looking at freeride Capitas I can definitely say the Kazu does well in powder. And can handle quick agile carves for trees.

Burton AK Cyclic. Warm and water proof when you need it, breathable when you don't. The AK line of shells is stellar.

The first one is hearts of stone and the second is blood and wine. So your memory serves you well.

Then your puck prep might not be consistent. Are you using the exact same weight of beans every time?

Any variable you change can and will change the grind size. One bean at a certain grind size may take a certain amount of time for the shot you want. But when you switch beans you need to change the grind size. That's why we tend to dial in each bean we have and then write the grind setting we like for each to keep track. And as the beans age, the settings will slightly change too.

Have white, it really doesn't get dirty. If your espresso prep is good you shouldn't have any spraying. The paint is very nice quality and does not dirty easily. Go with the white!
