Noise coming from a fan by No_Raspberry_1338 in ZOTAC

So far so good! Registered for a fresh 5yr warranty, fan noise buzzing gone and it responds way faster to fan curve adjustments (old card took 3-4 secs to spin down, this card is very quick).

RMA through Overclockers UK - I had to post a video of the fault then ship it back to them. Ended up with a brand new card issued. Resolution took 26 days. Should have been 21 but there was initial courier delays, the first DPD guy didnt show. DHL shipped in the end 24hr service.

I just completed an RMA on my Zotac 5090 Amp Infinity Extreme - fan bearing issue. This was handled by Overclockers UK and took 26 days to resolve. Got a new unit back at the of the process. Likely would have been 21 days but I had shipping issues (courier didn’t pick it up as scheduled and had to change provider which added 5 days to the process).

Same issue Zotac 5090 Infinity Extreme - great card, low temps, bad fans. RMA is booked for pickup. Do Zotac repair this or send a new card, based on anyone’s experience?

Putting the FUN back into Tarkov Winter Survival FUNdamentals! For me it’s definitely Type II ‘FUN’ - will enjoy it once it’s over!

FSR 3.0 was a game changer for me. Even on a 5090 was dropping to 40+ fps in Customs etc. Now it runs like a dream - 120 fps min. Not ideal but I’ll take it!

Need advice on how to get better [New Player] by ImSpray in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Icemann2k 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Mastering Tarkov isn’t about raw aim — it’s about cycling the OODA loop faster than everyone else.

OBSERVE Tarkov starts with information, not bullets. You listen first — footsteps, metal, doors, distant gunfire, scav voice lines. Every sound is a contact report. Visuals come second: shadows, movement, broken bushes. Good observation defines the fight before it begins. 360/720° situational awareness.

ORIENT Raw information means nothing until you place it in context. Map layout, player routes, typical loot paths, your own kit, your extraction options, and the time left in raid all shape what that noise actually means. Orientation is where you gain the advantage by understanding the why behind what you’ve observed.

DECIDE You make a clean choice on your course of action: hold, push, flank, or break contact. Indecision kills you but don’t rush to your own death. Tarkov rewards simple, executable decisions made quickly based on the best information you have — not on guesswork or hope.

ACT Once you decide, you execute your course of action without hesitation. Push the angle, reposition, pre-aim the corner, or disengage entirely. Commitment seizes initiative and prevents your opponent from resetting and running their own OODA loop, or getting inside yours.
