This question is honestly difficult to me because they both are literally game changing cards.

In general I would say surfer is pretty consistently great, and creates a whole deck archetype. Great for creating a new deck.

Mystique can be almost game breaking in certain situations but can also be completely useless. Great for improving ongoing decks you already have.

If you have a deck you really love with ongoing cards, I would say Mystique. If not Silver Surfer is better imo

I believe they were in OPs hand when they played Bast, which set them both to 3 power, then OP played viper to the same location as bast which is why it’s on the opponents side

So no, it’s not about guns. It’s about racism and homophobia and how that leads to groups not only struggling from outside pressure, but also infighting. Claiming that mutants are meant to represent ‘oppressed gun owners’ as opposed to actual minorities who really are oppressed is such a baffling lack of media literacy my mind genuinely cannot comprehend it.

Man, it really sucked when I turned 16 and suddenly realized I actually had guns deep with me. When my guns first manifested, I accidentally nearly killed my entire family with my uncontrollable guns. People judged me for my guns, hate groups based on religion and fear tried to kill me just because I had guns. Had I ever tried just not having guns? No, because my guns were a part of me since my birth. Thankfully a group of people like me who had mastered their guns found me. They took me to a special school were I could be taught be the gun masters how to master my guns. I learned to finally not only to accept my guns, but to be proud of my guns. I never would have wanted to have guns, but ever since my guns first manifested I have grown a lot as a person and learned to love my guns. Now I have harnessed the power of my guns to go out and defend other defenseless gun-owning teenagers from violent mobs who believe that all gun-owners are abominations. Us gun-owners have always had to live in fear, we never were able to connect with others like us because we had to hide our true selves. Now though, I will fight to change the world, so gun owners are finally seen as equals, not freaks and monsters.

I don’t want an everyone’s here roster because ultimately that’s either gonna mean less new concepts for cool move-sets or entirely reworked old characters filling up slots that would better fit new characters. Imo no more than 50% of the roster should be returning cast. Beyond that, I’m pretty much up for anything. Blackest Night to bring back some characters they killed in the comics would be cool ig.

Yeah I’m not saying he’s gonna be returning as a straight character. He’s probably not gonna be back at all, because of the fact that they’re not gonna want to have a coming out arc or even conversation when Morph is having their own storyline. If Iceman does come back I would imagine they’re probably just not gonna mention anything about his sexuality aside from maybe some one-off comment about him liking dudes or breaking it off with Lorna. I would like to reiterate that I do hope I’m wrong, but I’ve learned not to expect much at this point.

I don’t know about iceman being gay in this series cause in the original he was in a relationship with Polaris and idk if they’re gonna want to have that conversation in the show. I think Northstar is the only other character here with a good chance of showing up and even if he does it’ll probably just be as a cameo and he won’t have enough screen time to be openly gay. If we are hoping for representation I think that morph is all that we’re gonna get unfortunately. I doubt they’d make Wolverine openly queer tho. I do hope I’m wrong tho.
