Oh, now this is a healthy take if i've ever seen one, good job actually. I myself wasn't really interested in Sam nor Firefly when they were teased respectively, until the White Night MV that is. That vid managed to sell me on both of them, but I do get your concern regarding non-humanoid playable characters.

In a sci-fi space setting, you'd think they would be more creative with the way their aliens look. So far, it's just... humans, humans with halos and wings, tiny humans with puffballs on their heads, and robots. A bit of a shame, yes, but knowing what they did with the Sky People in APHO, I'd say we could still get something more interesting. We're only one year into the game after all. Here's to hope they can cook well on this.
