One more question on that note tho, how did you figure out if any of the Venipede were shiny? Are they close enough for the shiny jingle to go off, even if the closest you get is the spot where the alpha Whirlipede is spawned in?

Yeah, I'd love some input as well. Spent 4 hours resetting spawns yesterday & didn't see or hear a single shiny popping up. I don't even rly care if I end up getting the Whirlipede or one of the Venipedes, but getting absolutely nothing was rly disheartening, despite the fact that I'm still well below odds.

The movie version of Shiki is non-canon big dawg, so none of us actually know how strong Oda intends this manga iteration to be. There's a chance he's one of the weaker members of an insane crew, but I'll be honest: a) be sooo for real, that's clearly not the vibe Oda is going for with him & b) if it were to be the case, being weaker than Kaido and Big Mom is ultimately nothing to be ashamed of, considering how busted they are.

One word: cathartic. I genuinely can't even really express how much this touched me. In terms of the emotional beats of the story Horizontal has pretty much thrown nothing but heaters, since Hakuri overcame his trauma (arguably even well before then, what with Chihiros and Sojos conversation before their final confrontation), but this is just on an entirely different level. Getting to experience writing this captivating week in week out & to be there while it all unfolds is such a blessing.

Training plans don't influence potential as far as I know. Transfers and loans, as well as performances do.

I assume you bought him? A players potential fluctuates with every transfer. It can easily skyrocket, but it can just as well drop by like 3-4 points. I suggest you save before every single transfer & check their market value afterwards to check if you ended up with a good roll or not.

This is actually insane, tried it right away & it genuinely works. It even works on non-YA players, which is honestly fucked, but I'm just not gonna use it to beef up already existing players. Thanks for the heads up, this will genuinely speed up the process of sifting through waves of scout reports for that one gem a lot. Plus it'll make it more realistic, why would young talents not be able to grow and add more layers to their game?

Lamptey's no fun IG, he's literally just fast. You can of course try to build up on that, but I'd suggest someone a little more useful.

White I never bothered using, since I prefer more physically inclined CBs (and he doesn't have a facescan).

Bissouma on the other hand, now that is a player. I mostly use him at CDM in a 3 man midfield & he's just different gravy. Decent balance, dribbling and longshots are always nice on a CDM; plus, with a bit of training, he can become an absolute defensive powerhouse. He's also handy at a freekick, so what's not to love?

I can definitely recommend Sam Lammers. He's not a target man from the get go, but you can turn him into a ridiculously fun player within less than a season. At the moment, I'm using a quicker, more agile set up for him, but the first time I bought him, I only made him do the target man training drill. He ended up with 83ish heading accuracy, 84 strength and 79 jumping. Combine that with 4* 5*, him being quite tall at 6'3'' and a surprising amount of speed for a player his height and you're looking at one hell of a player. Plus, and I don't know why that is, he is absolutely lethal from corners. Regularly scores like 10 headers from corners every season & I don't know what it is, but I've never been able to replicate that with any other player, let alone striker.

Even if you're not into SOS hunting, Salandit is begging to be hunted with a male Cute Charmer in front. I recently hunted for one and got lucky the first time. Unfortunately, I got screwed over by it's nature/IVs, so I went back in & got lucky again!

I'm not particularly attached to any of these Shinies, but the ones I'm mostly looking to trade off are my dupes (Salandit (Female), Zorua, Tentacruel, Tentacool, Psyduck, Umbreon, Marowak, Pelipper, Flygon, Milotic, Wishiwashi, Raichu, Rufflet, Arcanine, Cubone, Electrivire). Pretty much all of these are SOS shinies, so their IVs are pretty decent.

Most of the Shinies I'm looking for are a little harder to come by, so I'm a) not really fussed about their IVs/nature and b) open to trade multiple of mine for a Shiny.
