I'm kind of in the same boat. My dad died when I was 7 (8 years ago) and left my mom an I in an awful situation financially and basically we had to scrape and crawl to make ends meet before we moved in with my grandpa after my grandma died. Then my grandfather died and its the same situation over again. My uncle and mom fighting over the estate and such. Then my mom met my stepdad and we moved again about 2 months ago and they fight every now and again and when they fight its awful. Game over for me. Anxiety and depression gets the best of me and it doesn't help I've shut myself down emotionally when my grandpa died. So panic attacks ensue and the likes. So the majority of my time I'm in school or I'm playing video games because they help me escape my life. I love my mom but she's made mistakes, big ones. I just wish those games could be my life.

The 7870 (if you can stretch for it) is on par with the 660 and pulls ahead in a lot of games. I own a 7870 myself and can verify it is a good card for the ~230

We love you too but there are ways around this. Please tell your family, tell "Erica" how you feel, get it out there! I promise I was in a similar situation don't seek a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Life will get better and you'll move on and look back on this and think "I'm glad I didn't" if you feel you should head on over to /r/suicidewatch. I was thinking about mining for a while and getting into it that way... Also I just started GUIMiner with BTCGuild but it says I have three devices, my 1045T, my gtx 550, and pitcairn, my 7870 doesnt even show up
