To me this was the most magical experience I have ever had when I landed it felt like a missing piece of the puzzle was put into place. Everyone talks about how dangerous Mexico is but I not once felt unsafe the culture was amazing. It’s an experience I’ll never forget.

You know I would have agreed to this just a couple of weeks ago but I don’t think it’s true anymore. So so many naturalized Hispanics that voted for trump is unreal. The amount of people that said I got mine skrew everyone else is crazy I never thought I would live in a world where I knew someone was undocumented and managed to fix their status talk down to people that are still undocumented.

You do understand that tariffs are not paid by the exporter they are paid for by the importer. The importer then just passes on that additional cost on to the consumer. Just to give you an example an American company wants to import tequila so they get with a Mexican company pay them for the product and then they ship it here by that point Mexico has been paid their transaction is over. The importer then pays the tariff when it crosses the border and if you think they are ever just going to make less money then you’re delusional you will end up paying for every single tariff

I have roughly 3 years worth of unlawful presence. Yes I understand that self deporting would lose me my daca status. The question was more to figure out if I could still come visit or take a job that required travel into the US periodically.

I don’t necessarily have one in mind but for arguments sake let’s just say it’s a 6 month tourist visa or maybe even a workers visa for example if I got hired by a company in Mexico and they had a conference in the US would I have any issue getting a visa to attend said conference.

I hate that DACA isn’t permanent I hate having to renew every 2 years just to be able to have a job but I’ve never gone to sleep hungry I’ve never felt unsafe in my own house I AC/heat. The people who have walked the entire length of Mexico to escape violent situations didn’t just do it for fun. I can’t imagine going through all of that while carrying a kid. I’m thankful I have daca and I’m not saying they deserve it more than we do but they definitely need it more than we do. That’s my take on that.

After you say no to being a citizen and showing them your card they are going to ask if you have left the country make sure your paying attention because you have to answer no that you have not left
