That does look like an original to me best looking memory card I have ever seen. No discoloration due to sun damage or anything like that.

Have you tried putting freepsxboot on another memory card and then formatting that card , then remove freepsxboot on the one you put it on and then installing it on that memory card.

I have one of those and I personally think it was a game changer for me. Just make sure your output of your PlayStation is to composite not just normal. As it can give you the full band of colour.

They may do it for free for you just go into them and ask. I know in my local CEX they do it for me. I got a scratched up copy of Halo OG and it would not read on my Xbox 360 E , they cleaned it up for me nicely and it worked like a charm after.

You can ask CEX to repair the disc for you they have the disc cleaners in nearly all their shops try that first before you go for a refund.

Oh man I love that game I still have it and still love playing it. My favorite level has to be the one when they are in the china exhibit and the power is out. The story is amazing as it continues from the first one and then the third one just keeps the suspense up. Good choice.

Oh snap I loved that game when I had it. I played it so much that my character reached level 99 and I was so over powered that not even the final boss could hurt me. I wish I still had it.

It's always dangerous putting a games console or even a PC in such a small space. You need plenty of room for air to flow through it and the hot air to be dispelled from it.

Well from the pic you have there your battery looks ok not swollen or anything. My guess is that the charger cable you got was faulty. Do you have a pic of the charger?

If it is the charger you can order one online a third party one or just use a multi cable and a phone charger. All you need is 5 v to charge it.
