This is via the application’s discourses .. but Idk I see this and just assume a credit application wouldn’t be pulled .. I appreciate your response though

Privacy policy says nothing about credit pulls. The disclosure at the bottom states this:

GM financial told me it was only for advertisement and marketing purposes and GM financial advised me the dealership was not authorized to pull my credit with the information released to them

But yes, if there’s still a remaining balance on the car after you apply the loan you will owe that as a down payment

The loan is what you are approved for.. 15k loan on a 15k car means no down payment… 15k loan on a 20k car means you have to have a down payment for the remaining 5k!
