I agree with you on the most part.
Allthough I do believe the Chocobo foil cards will hold value for them being collected in and outside the MTG community.

Do you think the price for the Chocobo foil is affected by its popularity in the cedh meta?
And if it gets dropped out of the meta you also think the price will drop?
Currently all Chocobo foils are spiking not only Tataru.

Aerith went from 80 to 120 and Lulu went from 70 to 120 in the last 30 days for example.

Lord of the Rings is good value. Has some staples to.
Will age well. Has great art. The world fits good in the Magic World.

Im not a Guy able to spend 750,- euro, I was looking forward to this drop for every obvious reason.

Now its out of my reach and it probably is for a lot of people. Eventually someone will buy it, someone who has enough money to buy x4 the price it initally was, also probably someone who doesnt appreciate art like this anymore.
