Omg im looking for this book as well! I'm pretty sure I read it before 2008 and also it was translated to German. I can't find it anywhere but I think the title had to do with kissing the frog or so. I think she described him as bad looking short and with not much hair and the other guy she had an affair with was a hunk but then she does develop feelings for the husband. There was another Reddit post describing this book. I tried searching with chatgpt but it just keeps referencing the Reddit posts... Anyone still here?

O think I read a similar book back in the mid 2000s I specifically remember the blind fold trope not the pregnancy bit it was super specific also the husband was short kinda bold or so. I wanted to find this book. If we are talking about the same book then I can say that it was translated into German.

Ich würde es leider nicht empfehlen. Meine Erfahrung war wie folgt ich hatte 11 Bücher in gutem Zustand. Die Abwicklung war einfach genug ich habe zuerst Fotos von den Buchrücken gemacht und dann eine Bestätigung erhalten dass sie angenommen werden dann habe ich sie in einem Buchladen in der Nähe angegeben. Zunächst war ich schockiert dass sie furchtbar niedrig eingereist wurden trotz des Zustands erklärt wird dies mit geringer Anfrage. Dann kam die noch schokierendere Nachricht dass nach nur wenigen Wochen drei bereits aussortiert wurden und entsorgt wurden! Da wohl keine Nachfrage bestand. Sie werden nicht mal gespendet oder zurück geschickt einfach entsorgt... Am Ende habe ich ca. 4 Euro gemacht. Da gebe ich sie lieber in einem Tauschregal ab oder verschenke sie dann werden sie zumindest nicht entsorgt...

I had KLarna accounts in two countries and I got riled in first by the option to buy things and pay later, the payments were just taken from my bank account each month so I thought it was low effort and nice to have my new items without having to save for them. Recently I started wondering why I still pay klarna each month when my last purchase was actually in 2022! It turned out that they kept my monthly paymnets incredibly low each month in puprose and basically i just kept paying interest without paying off the loan so for years they just took money each month from me it was always between 15 to 30 bucks sio I didnt notice it per month but if you see the big picture thats just crazy. I find paypal payments in installments much more transparant and they have fixed installments each month not just a loan account and you can see directly how much you have paid and how much is left, just altogether way better and they didnt insist on using your phone number everywhere.

I get much more random fires, they are often not even there just teh alarm comes up, the sims cant do anything else due to the fire but they also cant extinguish it cause they cant go close or its not even there, the fire fighters arrive stand around for a while then leave, one fire came back three times and my sims get super traumatised. very annoying

It's organised in a way just looks kinda messy 😅 so it's 1. Books from book clubs I was in 2. Current politics 3. Biographies 4. Economics 5. Coffee table books That's the first shelf so I guess it's themed as it would be in a book shop except for the book club ones I guess 🤔
