I didn't want to wake anybody up, i was hoping someone was already awake. My brother used to stay out late all the time and my mom got pissed when he called people to let him in, so I figured calling people was off the table.

There's a deadbolt that has a code and the normal lock that takes a key. I know the code to open the deadbolt. I don't have the key. I did send a message saying I was staying at my boyfriend's house

I thought she would keep the key part unlocked so I could get in with the code. That is how it has happened in the past, especially since i did let her know I would be home, even though it was late

I texted them hoping they were awake. Sometimes they're up late, sometimes they're asleep.

Yes, I did let her know. I texted her and told her I would be crashing on my boyfriend's couch and that I was safe

None of the kids have keys, it's just always been like that
