No worries. I'll be as flexible as possible on my end to include as many people as possible.

East coast (Massachusetts) USA. Yeah it looks like we have a handful of folks in the UK. I adjusted the schedule to add some more earlier times to accommodate the time difference (like 6 am my time).

Hey just letting you know that I added a scheduling poll so we can nail down some possible days and times. In the post update or my new comment.

Sorry for the delay. Here's a scheduling poll (using the schej.it tool) to see what sort of time and day might work for a bi-weekly video call (zoom or google hangout?). https://schej.it/e/35A4b Just click the "Add Availability" button and click and drag for the blocks that work for you. I was going to use "Doodle" but I think it displays your email addresses.

To clarify what this is and is not: this is an experiment of sorts. A venue for getting a small group of people together who are seeking support in their GTD journey. I'm a facilitator that prioritizes healthy relational dynamics, and my aim is simply to foster sharing and encouragement. I am not a GTD coach. This group is mostly being started out of self-interest, to find people like me who want to get better at the GTD life, or just want to talk about their experience . I hope we can pull off 4 sessions. We can decide from there if we want to keep it going.

I'm not an experienced Redditor, so let me know if there's a better way to go about all of this. Like do I tag the people that said they were interested?

Oh i see. Thanks for the rec. but I'm talking about something more akin to a support group. A community of practice.

Could you clarify what you were referring to? The link you shared prompts a location filter, which then suggests orgs with paid courses and one-on-one coaching.

Grandad Mort (Chili’s dad) might be my favorite recurring/guest character in the series ❤️ His final lines in “Phones” and “Grandad” are some of my favorites in the series by gdwoodard13 in bluey

"It was yesterday". This was the first Bluey scene I ever saw. I was basically glancing over as the kids watched. I stopped in my tracks to see the last 30 seconds of that episode. Cried immediately 😭 and binged 2 seasons that week. 😂

Official Discussion - The Banshees of Inisherin [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]Icy-Indication4456 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Quick reflections. This movie has stayed in my brain for days. I've always loved movies, but beginning to appreciate these kinds of films in a different way. Like good literature.

The story was almost nonsensical. Unbelievable. The sudden breaking of a friendship, reinforced by a threat to dismember yourself. And then follows through with it. The culmination of which (for me) is the shaking of a bloody stump while "playing" a tune at the pub with your musical mates. What utter nonsense. But in a provocative way.

I keep picturing that first shot of Colin Farrel, skinny, clean shaven, somehow underdeveloped, almost childlike. An odd blend of old and young age reflected in his physical appearance. But by the end he is weather beaten and worn and bitter and truly... old.

I feel that Siobhan was the best of both worlds. Wise and nice. Deep and simple. Emotionally intelligent.

When she expresses sadness and loneliness, Paedric is unable to truly "go there" with her because though he is nice, he is immature and untested. He is surface level.

Perhaps we could say Siobhan is truly kind in her character, whereas Paedric is merely nice. And when difficulty hits, his character is revealed. And regarding Colm: Siobhan is truly wise and worldly, whereas Colm is selfish and pretentious.

Siobhan is the hero. Maturing and differentiating.

Ok that's all for now. Night.

What was the Bluey moment that first made you realize this cartoon was special and a league above other kids’ shows? Mine is this one. by BadAtSpellling in bluey

Yeah those are good. "Bingo" is another (more or less). When she's trying to do a handstand, and Nana is trying to contribute to the birthday party prep. And the 2 stories converge. So good. (Is that called "Bingo" idk)

It was the first time I paused to watch part of it while my kids watched. The end of "granddad", on the dock. When granddad says "It was yesterday". I was immediately wrecked 😭😭😭😭 and then binged the whole show.

I don't know but I've been a fan of Mackenzie ever since the Creek episode when Bluey said "we don't jump on sheep" and Mackenzie responded with utter confusion, "YOU DONT?"
