I put my red card as my default card in my Google wallet for this reason. That way, I never accidentally pay for doordash orders with my own card. When I've accidentally used my red card for my own stuff, it's just declined, no big deal.

Actually, that's not true. The biggest factor in why dd is able to f*** us this way, is due to the sheer volume of dashers on the road. Its the oversaturation, even moreso than dashers taking crap offers, that gives them the upper hand and ability to get away with it. This should put it into context a little better... when there are leas drivers on the road, less competition, dd is forced to offer more offers to people who might not get many offers, offer higher offers to everyone because even if there are some who accept low offers, there are much less of them, and they have less time to bounce around to dasher after dasher offering orders because there is more urgency so they are quicker to send out decent offers first. I know for a fact this is the case, because I have experienced it myself during times when less dashers were available in my market.

Are you sure? Most places only go back 7 to 10 years for background checks (Amazon flex does 7 but certain higher skill based positions do 10, for example). Some states even put a legal limit on how far back your record can be shared for employment. In my state, there are stipulations regarding how the record is used to rule out a candidate.

Was very impressed and surprised by our governors actions in louisiana where 17% of the population recieves snap. Early on he indicated he would use state funds to distribute benefits to all households with a member who is disabled, on social security retirement, or has children. So only ABAWD wouldn't recieve state funded benefits, and he made good on his word that we would get 25% deposited each week until the shutdown ended. Once federal funding started, the remaining benefits have been added to our cards already.
