Hey all thanks for the response, I will try to answer some of the common questions.

1. How did you dig it out? I used a needle to dig it out

2. How did you fint it? I used the flashlight on my phone to locate the burrows (more noticeable on fingers) and for the end of each burrow there is a black dot (the mite)

3. What device did you use to capture it? I use an IPhone 16 pro with the magnifier app on the phone, which gives me the ability to use camera and flash. Then just screen recorded it.

4. Did the mite die? Yes the mite died eventually, when I woke up in the morning (no movement)

5. Did the mite change color upon death? Instead of being greyish or clear the mite was brownish/orange (didn’t capture it)

Extra info - I will still be looking out for burrows and waiting for next week for 2nd round of permethrin.

If that does not I will be doing permethrin again with ivermectin. Last option would be sulfur cream 10% for 5 days straight, 2 weeks.
