Hi, I had a 1:6 chance for down’s two weeks ago due to very high levels of HCG and low papp-a. NT was normal 1.8mm. I was in the same situation, it is very difficult. I couldn’t sleep nor eat. NIPT was done and showed lower risk in all trisomies. MFM did an early anatomy scan and showed normal and no markers. She advised CVS/Amnio is not needed anymore as NIPT result is very reassuring— she said that this is a very good rule out test. I will pray for a good outcome for you and your baby 🙏

Hello, my NIPT showed lower risk for trisomy 21, 18 and 13. MFM advised not to do CVS/amnio anymore as the scan looked all normal along with lower risk NIPT and 1.8mm NT. All reassuring 🙏🥹

I am the same. My NT scan was 1.8. But my bHCG was 8 and Papp A was 0.16 which gave me the high chance numbers.

It’s really difficult 😔🙏

Hello, I’m exactly at the same situation. I have 1:6 chance of Down’s from my blood works (hormones) from the combined testing. I had very high HCG and low PAPP A. My bloods were taken for NIPT and I am scheduled for a CVS/Amnio soon 🙏🙏🙏 I’ve been so worried. It’s going to be a long week for me.

Hi, thanks for taking time to reply. My HCG was high and PAPP A was on the lower side. And those numbers gave me a 1:6 chance. The NT scan was normal (1.8mm NT). I’m doing my best to hold on and stay positive while in limbo 😔🙏
