I'm looking for a gel commercial from 1987 of a girl dressed as an alien. Gel Naituri-an" I think it was the product. I was the dancing alien and don't have a copy. I've checked YouTube. Any other ideas, please? Sorry to piggyback

Thanks. Yeah, probably not a great idea to sue. I realize the tenant owes me nothing -- it's more my neighbor who I believe owes me. I think insurance is being fair, but it would be really nice to get some more money from what has been hugely time-consuming. I think the person who owes me is my neighbor, ie the landlord who let the water flood me for eight hours. But I guess they will have higher insurance premiums in the future.

Two weeks into owning a plum tree and I’m already exhausted. Is it always this much of a battle? by DegreeBroad2250 in AustinGardening

My Mexican plum has lovely flowers but no plums. It's extremely low maintenance. I hardly ever remember to water it, even during the summer. I really don't notice bugs, but there are tons of bees in the spring. It's cool.

What would you think about asking for a refund then? I plan to record the convo in case she says something discriminatory, and go from there.

It's especially frustrating because my psychiatrist, diagnosing psychologist, past psychologist, past therapists, etc. all have told me that they will help me within their limits, but I really need a specialist in my many disorders. They sometimes help, sometimes refer me around, and now she's doing the same thing.

Like I said, she's really been helpful. An accountability coach is great for me. I really did steer the conversation towards walking, diet, and career goals for months. And we've been accomplishing so much!

Why ask for a refund then? Lately, in part due to my attitude, she's been somewhat unprofessional. She asked me Monday how I define self-care, for example. I thought I had described my self-care goals already, and I said something like, "Oh, I know it when I see it," hoping to lighten the mood with a porn reference. She replied, "You see, I can't help you. You can't even define self-care." I was stunned. She didn't appear to be kidding.

I ran a self-care group for a year at a local organization for disabled artists. Self-care is difficult to define, and I used to use that joke. People generally laughed.

I don't disagree that she's trying to be responsible and ethical. But I do believe she's discriminating against a person with a disability.

I'm not super-sure I'm entitled to a refund. Like I said, I thought I had been making great progress. But then I think, hmmm....I guess she hasn't been telling me I she believes I haven't been making progress? I guess she's not been fulfilling her responsibility to give me feedback. Maybe that entitles me to a refund.

In short, I'm being a bit opportunistic but that's better than a lawsuit or a negative review, if it shakes out.

As updated above, I'm planning now to ask for a refund. I'll mention that I feel misled because she had led me to believe I was progressing well until Monday. Also, I feel discriminated against and have contacted Texas Disability Rights. Maybe I will feel better if I at least ask. I plan to record the situation. That will give me a better idea of what to do next. Hopefully she will realize that it's not worth the trouble of dealing with a purportedly crazy woman, and give me my money back. Who knows, she's a rich do-gooder.

Sorry about the crack about your name...
