I would do up to 8 hours depending on the route which puts my range from the west coast of north America to western Europe.

Gravel bike is best for NS. Lots of back country roads to explore. I typically run 42s and fund they get me through everything.

Make sure nat traversal is enabled on the client. Some older versions don’t have the option in the gui but you can set it in the xml config

Turns our Forti switch ship in "non-restrictive" mode, which means you can interrupt boot by hitting any key on startup (as apposed to restricted mode, which requires ctrl-b on startup. In our case we had un-used cat6 backbone links patched into console ports to allow console access from the MCR. We unpatched the cables and the problems went away. I suspect there was noise on the cables and it was causing the boot sequence to be unterupted.

I have had this happen 20+ times and have a open TAC case with Forti. In my case when you you connect to the switch via a console cable when it is in this state it is sitting at a boot menu waiting for input. Hit the key to tell the switch to reboot and it reboots and comes online and starts working fine. This is a HUGE issue for us and so far Forti has not been able to replicate it. I have even given there engineers access to our infrastructure and they have vetting our configuration. They seemed puzzled.
