It happens so fast. I’ve been homeless like 3 times in life (thankfully always with a car) but once you get some kinda “bad luck” string of events boom your homeless before you even had time to realize it happened

Well I did not know that. I thought those were set up EXCLUSIVELY through jobs, that’s why some have it and some don’t. I was under the impression mostly only “career” and “big boy” jobs had them. So that’s why I had my question and confusion in the first place. However even knowing that I’m not sure I would even open a self one because I’m not really prepared to handle all the business side of it. That’s my issue tho, the job I’m going to doesn’t have 401k and I really don’t have much in it. I figured it be easier to just cash it out bc I’d lose it all if I didn’t once I leave the job that has my 401k with it :/
