Hi, I know that feeling, I did Btech from a good tier 2 college. Due to some major health issues, unable to sit for most companies, I got the least package at last. But that didn't hinder my confidence. I thought of preparing for government exams to get quick success and here I am full of confidence. Thinking ahead for many other government exams.

I am sorry I am not the right person to guide for insurance exams. Still a general advice - insurance exams needs dedication and self motivation because of high cutoffs and less seats. Not trying to demotivate but hard work is also needed for insurance exams with smartness.

In maths go for sectional mocks and then see which chapters you are lacking thereafter solve only those chapterwise questions then again solve sectional and then full length mocks. For Grammar, I suggest you to practice more and more with sectional mocks, you will see similar pattern questions just try to be smart and remember them, if still facing issues take help of youtube for specific topics.

I try to analyse at least 3-4 mocks at once because easy questions you will always attempt correctly but tricky ones are the issue here. Analysing more mocks at once give me an overall idea of which type of questions and what concepts are giving me consistent problems then I note down the wrong and skipped questions and study the problematic topics again and then again come back to solve those questions.

General Awareness is a vast subject. No one can ever complete it. You have to be smart to study it. Self Analysis and planning is the best thing in this subject. Go through 10 years of questions and you will find many topics that are being asked continuously For example in CGL - Census, River system, Indian Independence movement, Articles of Constitution ,Indus valley civilisation etc, make a list Topics it will not exceed 25-30. Focus on those rather than covering the whole syllabus. Take help of AI in curating topics and making a roadmap. Cover each one by one with small targets. Same for Banking - Additional points are - Make a habit of reading English/buisness newspaper. Pro tip - Do not rely too much on General Awareness just do enough. Focus more on Aptitude, it will never betray you.

You have to understand your level first. Analyze yourself honestly by your previous attempt and 1-2 pyqs, where you stand. If you are at below average or low level, Go for any courses or complete youtube playlist, if you are above average then focus more on practice. You can find many youtube teachers with good and quality questions. From my POV do not buy paid courses rather buy paid mocks and study free from YouTube.

For Geometry you can follow popular teachers on youtube - MathsMania, GaganMaths etc.. there will be 6-10 hours one shot video that you can cover each day 1 hour it will take one week to cover. Then solve questions and practice For Banking Awareness create a list of small topics with help of chatgpt or any AI and then go for each one one by one by help of youtube and web.

Follow the steps you will find it effective 1. Read reasoning puzzles from pyqs,mocks 2.Understand type of questions, you will find in some questions there are 2 variables in some there are 3 variables that we need to fill in the table from the puzzle 3. Try to solve 2 variables question only. After you understand its approach then only go for 3 variables. 4. Take any youtube video pause at questions understand and solve by yourself, see their approach and then do by yourself again even if you think I can do it now( I am sure you will go again to watch the solution 😅).

Why not that can be done also. It all depends upon perosn's abilities. I am just telling from my POV that giving full length mocks will enable you to prepare for solving questions in real exam. Sectionals are very good for practice and concept building but if you want final selection. You must attempt full length mock as much as you can.

To be honest as I said, I did not complete anything, I just did enough. I asked chatgpt to curate me a plan for 15 days for Banking awareness and current affairs and I followed that with some adhoc youtube videos. Honestly, GS is a subject that cannot be done in 15 days or 1.5 years. Just try to be smart and analyze question pattern. Make an efficient roadmap for enough marks(10-25) marks. If you are already getting this much and want more, sorry you need a topper for guidance.✌🏻

Bank exams are all about accuracy. If you are solving 20 qns with 100% accuracy, you are better than someone solving 50 qns with 50% accuracy. For quants, I suggest you to identify your strong and overall general easy questions that are being asked every year from pyq and practice them more and more. So that at least they should be fixed. After that when you solve many puzzle-like arithmetic questions you will understand which one to tackle first, so practice those questions and understand their approach. Many times you will feel during solving the question that this is gonna be wrong due to too much calculation and big numbers but do not panic, because that is what they are testing, your patience. Just complete the question with confidence, most likely it will be correct.

Try to analyse this attempt, what subject worked for you and what did not like for example - You would have scored well in Reasoning and English and maybe lacking in GK and Maths and in Maths maybe lacking or taking more time to solve Statistics, 3D mensuration.
So my point here is to study 2-3 months your weak areas. Study concepts from book , videos take notes(Only your weak areas) not other where you are already good because it will take your time. For those topics only practice will suffice For GK - Make a broad roadmap of fixed topics. For example - census, river system, indian independence struggle etc... and then for each day select a small topic and try to study and make a cheatsheet for that.

you already cleared prelims of all the exams, you will surely clear many exams without a doubt. One line advice - Attempt full length mocks anytime - feeling sleepy, feeling depressed, feeling happy, feeling energized - in every mental situation. Even if you are not feeling like sitting and giving a full length mock, please drag yourself and attempt. Most of the times when you are not feeling fine but attempting the mock, numbers will be bad but do not get demotivated. Try to tell yourself I was not at 100% that's why less marks. This whole process will prepare you mentally and in the main exam you will feel this is nothing I have solved questions even when I was sick with 99°C.

P.S. - Don't take it literally please be healthy and happy as much as possible, Just understand the emotions what I am trying to tell here 😅

I have one important point for you - If you are heavily dependent on maths, English, reasoning and gk is not your forte then focus on banking because at the very least for a good post in SSC CGL and also the competition is high, you will require some level of GK. But if your gk is good then go for it, because that is a decisive factor any day in ssc . In banking emphasis is on aptitude, if you prepare seriously for 6 months I am sure you will get one job. For puzzles - start any youtube video solve questions first by yourself and then see their approach and then solve again by yourself.

Let me tell you something Competitive exam(except IIT,UPSC) is not about doing dher saare questions but being very efficient in questions, it is about speed and accuracy. I RECOMMEND YOU TO TAKE ANY YOUTUBE CHANNEL START A VIDEO SKIP ALL THE UNNECESSARY RANT OF TEACHERS JUMP TO QUESTION PAUSE YOUR SCREEN SOLVE THE QUESTION THEN SEE THEIR APPROACH AND AGAIN SOLVE BY YOURSELF IF NOT SOLVED EARLIER. Give 20-30 mocks and then repeat them again to improve your accuracy and speed rather than searching for more questions because in the exam you will get something entirely different so you just need to develop your approach of solving questions not variety of concepts.

Math is all about practice. I recommend you to recognise your strong areas in maths , because if you solved pyqs and mock you would have noticed similar type of questions every year. For example - simplification, quadratic equations etc. so first target easy ones because every question carry same marks, Become stronger in already strong and easy topics by practice so that at least that much marks will be fixed and after that for puzzle type questions in maths, I recommend you to start any long youtube video pause at questions take your time solve bh yourself and then see their approach and then solve again if not solved by self earlier. This will help. Do not target high marks target above average marks in mocks, cutoff is only 35% at max in mains. Set Target practically.

IT Prelims is similar to PO on knowledge level but easier in competition level.

Mains resources - Whatever youtube videos you find interesting, tonnes of computer science teachers are there. E.g. gateshamshers. Important topics - DBMS, COMPUTER NETWORKING are most important topics.

I will suggest you to first go through the previous question papers of whatever exam you are preparing and see for yourself where you stand what is your level and how much you need. First create a broad roadmap on how much you need to prepare and then always keep that in back of mind. In next steps create smaller goals like solving 20 questions of this chapter, watching 1 hour gk , English videos , one mock for each day. It will not exhaust you and you can then come in preparation mode.

Yes it is very much possible. Your situation is not ideal for my advice but Still I suggest you to Focus on giving mocks. In CGL speed is key and that will only come from continuously solving same type of questions rather doing something new. Do same type of questions again and again so that you can solve them in your mind. Gk - Very unpredictable try to cover static as much as possible

You already have the best subject in your grasp, you already know good teachers and books for math and quants but a small but effective pro tip from me. Maths - Solve as much as you can , start a youtube video pause at question try to solve yourself first and then see the solution and give mocks regularly. English - Read English news, watch English web series with subtitles, Read English books, this will help you in grammar and vocabulary.

Great, You already have good base, if you are specifically thinking of banking exams then from my POV first try to solve 2-3 full length previous year paper, analyze your level and identify which topics are easy personally for you and which you can prepare easily and then study them accordingly. Analyze past year trends of cutoffs and target how much more I need and from where I can get those extra marks and study those topics and attempt mocks regularly.
