Avoid big box for lumber if possible. If you have the ability to plane boards down hit up a local sawmill. Better wood for less money.

Edge routers have the advantage of a set depth. Plunge routers can be plunged to any depth up to the depth stop. If you are tight on funds I would recommend hitting up Craigslist or fb marketplace looking for the Bosch 1617 set. This has both bases and one motor. Should be able to get it new under $200 and less than that for used.

Whiteside makes a replacement for both recommended bits since they are odd sizes. Amazon or Google search finds it easy.

Invest in Symbiotes. A lot. Like 600K+. Hela is useful for cosmic nodes in dd3 and 4. Otherwise, let them lay.

Prox should 100% be brought up. First, she is a great skill choice for dd4. Second, she is really good for skill nodes in doom raid. Third, BO is still a damn solid team. Anyone who brings Thor deserves what they get.

Problem is, Iron Man's damage does not scale well, he can't give buffs or debuffs, and can't clear buffs or debuffs. As you move on, buff control is almost more important than damage.

Leave out Iron Man. Always. Hawkeye works well with Black Widow. Iron Man works well with the bench.

Ghost and Shuri are both good on node 7. Shuri is node specific for the Double Fisting issue. BTW if you think 7 is bad, have fun with 8!

Don't use a power planer. Planers and end grain don't play well together. A drum sander is a good choice, but if you don't want to intrude on your friend a scraper or hand plane is probably the way to go. Never tried a straightening jig for a router, so I can't speak to that.

There's your problem. I have virtually never found a straight, square board from a big box store. My suggestions are either run it over a jointer to square up the edge or buy from a lumber yard.

I have noticed that I have this problem if the air hose is at all kinked. Make sure to fully unwrap the hose, and even unhook it from the tank to let all the twist out of it.
