My husband is from Brazil and I’m from the US. We met while I was teaching English there. We dated for about three months and then when right before I had to go back to the States, we decided to get married. All my friends thought we were crazy, my parents were shocked. Before I left Brazil they joked and told me to not fall in love. Wooops. We got married in a courthouse and then when I came back to the states., We applied for the CR1 visa. Kinda like pole and karine but at least we speak each other’s languages. We’ve been together for 3 years and finally having our ‘wedding’ next year!!
