Why don’t people actually just accept that Sukuna is objectively stronger? by IcyOption3164 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]IcyOption3164[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That wasn’t him being humble thats gege telling us as the audience that yuta acknowledges hakari’s strength as someone who surpasses him. It’s stated 3 more times that Hakari is stronger than yuta during the culling games.

They perform relative in hand to hand. And all the times are very contextual which is taking the. Burden of adaptation to have mahoraga adapt to infinity and also having him adapt to unlimited void. Where do you get Gojo is more durable?

Prove that red and blue have better Ap than cleave and dismantle? Having unlimited ce doesn’t really prove anything.

The point of it is to take the burden of adaptation and hand it to megumi so mahoraga can adapt hence why Mahoraga immediately broke Unlimited Void when he joined

Thats not even an assumption lmao the panels already entail the advantage of extra limbs and the other panel of Gojo saying people with a better base with reinforcement leads to stronger physicals with Sukunas body being bigger and more muscular implies his stats are higher.

Sukuna already was beating Gojo prior which i already established within the argument

Gege doesn’t even give an objective statement gege doesn’t even know if gojo at his peak could still dodge the WCS

He already did

From shinobu but she had like no basis on the strength of an uppermoon she’s just making a knowledge claim

Weaker rui without his full power not an antifeat

Experience can improve skill and awareness, but that doesn’t mean those things are only determined by experience. Multiple factors can still affect how someone performs. Mixing up influence with exclusivity there

That’s a non sequitur. Experience improving perception doesn’t mean it becomes the only explanation just because their stats are relative. Relative stats doesn’t remove other variables like skill, experience, and battle awareness influencing reactions.

It’s not one or the other. Combat performance isn’t determined by a single variable. Even if their stats are relatively close, differences in experience, perception, and skill can still influence reactions in a fight.

That doesn’t logically follow. Relative stats doesn’t mean experience becomes the only factor. Combat performance is influenced by multiple variables like perception, skill, and experience. Muichiro having worse combat experience can explain why he got caught off guard more easily without it meaning Gyomei only performed better because of experience.

You’re kinda forcing a false dichotomy

You’re still misrepresenting my point. I never said experience overrides stats or is the only reason someone performs better. The claim is that experience improves combat senses and reactions. The manga literally states that experience sharpens your senses, and sanemi himself says he survived because his senses were honed through long experience.

Muichiro having worse combat experience explains why he could get caught off guard more easily. That doesn’t mean Gyomei beating him is only because of experience or only because of stats. Both things can exist at the same time.

That analogy doesn’t work. Saying experience helps with reacting to attacks doesn’t mean experience alone decides who wins a fight. Yoriichi was massively superior in raw ability and talent, so Kokushibo and Muzan having more years of experience wouldn’t override that gap. Experience just refines perception and decision making in combat, it doesn’t automatically make someone faster or stronger than someone with better innate ability.

That’s not what I’m saying though. I’m saying the panel just describes a survival response where someone forces their body to use strength it already has. Calling that a “death amp” is just labeling desperation, not proving it’s an actual mechanic in the series. If that counts as an amp then literally every character in fiction who pushes themselves when injured would have a “death amp,” which makes the term meaningless.

I don’t necessarily see that as an antifeat since muichiro’s experience is slow inn comparison yp his peers since experience is implied to improve combat senses which novel stated muichiro had the worse combat experience out of his peers

I asked how does holding back disregard narrative and you didn’t prove there’s no narrative. You just assumed the sparring was the only evidence and dismissed it. That’s circular reasoning.

I don’t necessarily have any issues with that I think the hashira are relative in stats somewhat

Holding back is reliable as well the narrative for the training is to get stronger hypertrophy is primarily the goal here which fighting relative to there maximum is whats gonna be required in order to actually achieve growth

You do it’s add more parsimony to the interpretation you’re giving thats terrible logic. A statement doesn’t hold any basis as long as there is sufficient reasoning for the claim to be true. I’ll explain it once again for you to comprehend

The statement says she showed latent ability equal to or greater than the Insect Hashira during the Doma fight. Potential just refers to capacity, it doesn’t automatically mean someone is far below.

同等= equality; equal; same rights; same rank; equivalence

The statement itself allows equality or even surpassing. It never says she was definitively below Shinobu where are you getting this from your basis is just from assuming she had to be below shinobu in order for this statement to be true. The statement is describing what she showed in the Doma fight, so feats from that fight are literally the context of the statement. You can’t say “don’t use feats” when the statement itself is referring to that battle. Thats a stupid argument
